Jehovah Witnesses –Teaching custom, ritual and Tradition.

By Leith Cunningham

I was handed a July 1, 2014 Watchtower pamphlet the other day from Jack, a Jehovah‘s Witness acquaintance of mine, in his sincere attempt to convert me to their way of believing and teaching the truth of God. While I like Jack and he is a friendly, outgoing individual, my eyes immediately were drawn to the cover of the pamphlet to which I perceived to be the first glaring error in their understanding of the truth of God. It asked the question, “WHY do bad things happen to good people”.  Obviously, they either have not read the scripture or have read them but refuse to believe what it says in not only (Luke 18:19) but also in (Mark10:18) And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, God. “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God aloneIf Jesus Christ himself in the flesh as a physical person did not consider himself to be good and corrects the one so addressing him, then none of us should consider ourselves or others in this carnal, physical nature and condition to be good either. Let us consider exactly what it is that we have all worked for, earned and got coming to us for our existence and lifetime of toil here on earth. For the wages of sin is death; ( Did you get that? ) The wages, that which we have worked for, earned and got coming to us is death. But notice the last half of that scripture). But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) We cannot earn eternal life, it is an impossibility to even try. It is a free gift of God because of what Jesus Christ accomplished in our stead. Never having sinned, He was of greater value than all of mankind combined. He willingly gave up His physical life that we all would at a future time be brought up to immortal, spirit life as God the Father and He himself now are.

No one righteous

There is not one righteous person on this earth, no not one so says the Word of God. This lack of understanding of the actual truth of God as the other reported multiple thousands of  counterfeit Christian churches around the world, preaching and teaching contrary to the Word of God, has become common place throughout Christendom around the world, more properly known as the Babylon of confusion, they continue on in custom, ritual and tradition. Teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9) and Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mark 7:7) Again two easily understood scriptures here to identify the error they make in their teachings. I do not deny that these people are the people of God, they definitely are the people of God and his admonishment for all of us can be found in the following Word of God. (Not in my words) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4) God is instructing us all to come out of this worlds many so called religions that His word identifies as the Babylon of confusion. (So yes, they are the people of God, but they are in denial of His truth) Would you now like to hear the truth in a few short words, why bad things happen to all people?  And are they really bad at all; if the good purpose of God is being accomplished?

God is the potter, we are the clay

Let’s look into the true Word of God for the answer as to why bad things happen to all of His people. The Word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. (Jeremiah 18:1-6) (King James Version) Then again in Isaiah we see this reaffirmed by the Word of God. Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. (Isaiah 64:8) The ultimate goal, purpose and plan of God before the world began; was then and still is to reproduce His image and likeness in all of mankind. As He promised eternal life to all of mankind. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (Titus 1:2) God as the potter working in our individual lives, knows exactly what it will take to bring His sons and daughters up to Their own level of immortal spirit life, to have life as God and His Christ have life. It may well require at times to smash the lump of clay that we all are, down and start all over in the molding process, to serve the purpose and plan of God. Human behavior requiring prolonged correction at times can be very painful; mentally, emotionally and spiritually to achieve the purpose of God. When the so called bad things happen to us all at times, they are not bad things at all, they are all good things that may hurt and cause pain and sorrow, but as well they serve the long range purpose and plan of God in shaping and molding us in Their own image and likeness. ( In the image of God and Jesus Christ ) Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness, (Genesis 1:26)

A qualifying word needs to be added here so as not to confuse the reader:

The very same thing that identifies the Jehovah’s Witnesses in their teaching for doctrine the commandments of men, also identifies most all other denominations, splinter groups, churches and such that refuse to accept and believe the truth of God. We all know them well by way of their settling for less than the truth of God. They flourish and thrive in every community, town, village and city in America and around the world. The Catholic church and all of her Protestant prostitute daughters called by such names as the Baptist church, the Lutheran church, the Methodist church, the church of God, the Church of Christ, the Mormon church, the Jehovah’s Witnesses or by whatever other name has been attached to the thousands of churches of Babylon that encircle the globe, preaching and teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. These churches claiming to be followers of Jesus Christ should have many years ago done away with paganism and idolatry within their teachings and acceptance of truth. Yet, most instead have adopted paganism and idolatry; it is part of their custom, ritual and traditions pasted down from one generation to the next one etc. To the Jehovah’s Witnesses credit they at least don’t teach and celebrate the paganism and idolatry of the sun gods Saturnalia festival; after the name of Christ has been appropriated and attached to it and now called Christ-mass or Christmas indicating the Catholic churches involvement and influence in bringing it about. The Word of God describes these churches and the followers all in this way below.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. (Notice here it is talking about those whom would be teachers, but whom oppose the truth ).

A final charge to Timothy: 10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 4 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2nd Timothy 3:4 - 5) Another translation has it this way. Holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these

 Denying the power thereof;

Bible commentary: Though in words they profess religion and godliness, the fear of God, and the pure worship of him, yet in works they deny all; and though they may have a set of notions in their heads, yet they feel nothing of the power of them on their hearts; and are strangers to experimental religion, and powerful godliness: or though they profess the Scriptures to be the word of God, yet they deny the use, the power, and efficacy of them; they deny the use of them to the laity, and affirm that they are not a sufficient rule of faith and practice, without their unwritten traditions; and that they are not able to make men wise, or give them a true knowledge of what is to be believed and done, without them; and that the sense of them is not to be understood by private men, but depends upon the infallible judgment of the church or pope: from such turn away; have no fellowship with them, depart from their communion, withdraw from them, and come out from among them: this passage sufficiently justifies the reformed churches in their separation from the church of Rome. (2nd Timothy 3:4 - 5) (End of commentary) And yet so soon they all fall right back into denying the power, might and sovereignty of our Almighty God.

What does our brother; Lord and Savior Jesus Christ have to say about those in denial of his truth, those refusing to believe what he tells us to be the truth?  I would like everyone to take note that this is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ talking to us here; it is not Leith Cunningham or some other mere worm like man creature compared to Christ. IT IS CHRIST!

(John 3:18 and on) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned (judged) already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(1 John 5: 10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness within himself: He that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

(John 8: 45) And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

(John 16: 9) (NLT) The world’s sin is unbelief in me.

(Hebrews 4:2) We have heard the same Good News that your ancestors heard. But the message didn't help those who heard it in the past because they didn't believe.

(John 7:2-5) “But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus’ brothers said to him, ‘You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.’ For even his own brothers did not believe in him.”

Christ Speaks! (John 8:23-24) "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

Christ claims to be the Savior of all mankind without even one exception. And in fact the Savior of all creation including Satan and his demons. He is reconciling all not some; all back to God the Father. That is if we believe His Word. But not one church, denomination, splinter group in so called Christianity around this world which should be labeled Counterfeit Christianity or the Babylon of confusion will believe this or teach it to their members; with the exception of the church that Christ is building that the gates of hell shall not prevail against. All others that continue to feed from the table of demons; supposing they are being fed the truth of God. Revelation 18:4 should be ringing in their ears as they read these words I have written here. Come out of her my people! No one will be allowed to remain in the Babylon of confusion indefinitely. When God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ set their hand at revealing Their wonderful truth to the masses; all will know the truth from the least to the greatest.(Jeremiah 31:34) "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." (Hebrews 8:11) No longer will they teach their neighbor or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.  For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. Now might be the right time to contemplate coming out of Babylon today.

(John 5:24 ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

(John 5:38) And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent him ye believe not.

It is serious business not to believe the Word of God or attempting to justify disbelief through twisting the Word of God, or by any other means. It matters not what your own particular church teaches and preaches as the truth, we all as individuals will someday stand before God and be accountable as individuals. After all we are told we need not that any man teaches us, that the Spirit of truth will lead us into all truth. We do not have to have our faith and confidence in fallible bug like men, when the creator of all that exists has sent us the source of all truth.

(1John 2:26-27) But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

(1 John 2:27)"I have many more things to say to you but you cannot bear them now. (Notice what is being said here, we are not all able to bear the complete truth at this time)

"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.  "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.… (John 16: 12 - 14)

Again, we should not set our church up in place of God. As explained above there are multiple thousands of Christian denominations, splinter groups and such, with many different odd sounding names, all teaching a different variation of what they perceive to be the truth of God. All of them having a measure of truth but intermingled with it, much custom, ritual and tradition and repetition from the pulpits of the churches around the world believed as the truth of God, while being in denial of it. This can and does cause sincere and dedicated people to be led astray from the actual truth of God taught within the pages of our bibles. Just because a certain doctrine has been expounded and believed by the masses for hundreds and even thousands of years, does not make it true if it goes against the Word of God. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9) and Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mark 7:7) I found in the pages of the J.W. pamphlet an ongoing flow of half-truths and outright deception. On page 4 they attempt to show through the Word of God, that God does not cause bad things to happen. They quote Psalm 145:17, Deut 32:4 and James 5:11. Not one of these scriptures actually shows any proof at all that God has not created evil Himself. Never mind pointing out the actual truth of the matter that it is God that created evil in the first place. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7) (KJV)

They will be quick to divert our attention away from verses such as this, attempting to water it down to make it mean something altogether different. They will go to great lengths to explain the truth of God away. It is what it is my friends, God created evil to serve a good purpose. That is what He says and that is what He did. Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" ( Amos 3:6 ) Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.' And the LORD said to him, 'How?' "He said, 'I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He (God) said, 'You are to entice him and prevail also. Go and do so.' ( Make a note here my friends, God instructed the spirit to go forward and do so ) "Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, for the LORD has proclaimed disaster against you."… (Chronicles 18: 20 - 22) They (The JW’s along with the multiple thousands of other churches of the Babylon of confusion) seem almost willingly ignorant, in their refusal to believe the Word of God as opposed to what their church teaches.

The J.W. folks along with the other deceived churches of the world need to realize that God is whom He claims to be; He is in absolute control of everything and all of the time. Otherwise He would not be a sovereign God at all. They go on in page 5 with even more error, in saying that God chose not to know what was going on in Sodom etc.

God knows the end from the beginning and everything in between. Do they not know that God is omnipresent, He occupies all time and space, and He is everywhere at once. He didn’t have to go anywhere to know what was happening in Sodom. They go on and in page 5 and tell another lie of monumental proportions, in that mankind has a free will apart and separate from the will or intent of God. What did Jesus Christ have to say about his own free will? He had none my friends! (He was not free to do anything on his own, not one ounce of free will)"I can do nothing on My own initiative. ( Did we get that? He was able to do nothing on His own ). As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, ( Clearly, Christ had no free will, and neither do any of us ) but the will of Him who sent Me. ( John 5:30 ) Christ can do only whatever he sees the Father doing. Jesus gave them this answer: "Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. (John 5:19) Have not the J.W. folks ever bothered to read, believe and then teach the truth of this matter in Ephesians? In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh  all things after the counsel of his own will: ( Ephesians 1:11 ) Working all things after the council of His own will my brothers and sisters and friends; doesn’t leave one tiny speck of anyone’s personal free will to have any effect on anything. I don’t apologize for busting the nose off anyone’s idol; it just is what it is.

                                                                                            Free will an illusion

Once all things have been worked out by the will of God, it doesn’t leave any room for the will of man to be worth a plugged nickel, or even to exist for that matter. The will of man is an illusion, something supposed by man, thought and believed to exist by a deceived Christianity and being taught to naïve and gullible church goers the world over, without scriptural documentation. Men make choices and decisions every day, but something (or someone) creates a circumstance that causes these decisions. If I scratch my body (my own choice), I do it because I have an itch. If I eat a meal (my own choice), I do so because I am hungry. If I hurt another person (my choice), I do so because they did some harm to me. For every choice we make, there is a cause greater than the choice. It is your basic cause/effect principle. For every effect (in this case our choice), there is some cause that prompted the action. As no one would deny that God is sovereign over all things (including Satan), it is God who can change circumstances as He pleases to bring about the desired effect. In this way, we may think we are totally independent from God (Have a free will) in the choices we make, but in reality, there is someone greater than ourselves working behind the scenes to bring about a perfectly orchestrated finale. God is the great conductor who controls and leads men to respond with a simple wave of His baton.

Lest I be misunderstood, let me be clear here that I do understand that most all of these thousands of deceived churches, denominations, splinter groups and the like of which I speak that circle the globe, are the people of God. They all continue to preach and teach about our God and the Christian way of life as they understand it. They do continue to do much good in revealing God, while at the same time missing the mark in many areas that also lead His people astray. The teaching that man is a free moral agent, that man has a free will separate and apart from the will and intent of God, is but one of them. You first have to know the truth to be able to teach it. Their (The JW) explanation of the devil and Satan on page 6 is another example of how they are leading their people away from the truth of God. Never once mentioning the fact that it was God that created Satan in the first place to be an adversary to man. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed (Satan) the crooked serpent. (Job 26:13) He (Jesus Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. ( Colossians 1:15 - 16 ) Christ has created the waster (Satan) to destroy as we see here in Isaiah. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. (Isaiah 54:16) "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. "But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.… (John 8: 43 - 45) Again! How obvious it becomes; we just flat out refuse to believe God according to His words, not mine.

Satan was a murderer from the beginning.

Notice how this does away with the hocus pocus teaching that Satan morphed himself into existence, citing as the custom and ritual of the Babylon of confusion traditionally do in the false assumption that Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 is describing Satan. It is clearly talking about the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14 from verse 4 through verse 11. Eight different verses in order, talking about the king of Babylon… THEN! Hocus Pocus, in verse 12 he suddenly becomes Satan the devil known now by the name of Lucifer. What a crock these false teachers are attempting to force feed their gullible flocks. The same thing applies to Ezekiel 28 which clearly is the Lord addressing the prince of Tyrus. Today for the most part I am addressing the errors made in the Watchtower by the Jehovah’s Witness magazine in their sincere attempt to preach and teach the Word of God. However, it includes most all of the multiple thousands of other denominations, churches and splinter groups that I allude to as well, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. Jesus Christ is being identified in our bibles as the Word of God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. (John 1: 1 - 3) (KJV)

Earlier in this letter I pointed out nine different scriptures from the Word of God, telling us that He tells us the truth but we will not believe Him. Let’s take a moment and test this out as an example of what I am talking about. Here below I repeat what I say above taken from the Word of God. (Job 26:13)He (Jesus Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:15 - 16) Christ has created the waster (Satan) to destroy as we see here in Isaiah. "But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.… (John 8: 43 - 45)

Satan was a murderer from the beginning. Notice how this does away with the hocus pocus teaching that Satan morphed himself into existence. Citing as they do the custom, ritual and tradition of the Babylon of confusion traditionally do in the false assumption that Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 is describing the fall of Satan. It is clearly talking about the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14 from verse 4 through verse 11. Eight different verses talking about the king of Babylon…THEN!

My question now to you Jehovah Witnesses, again is this! Do you believe your church, or the Word of God? Let me go on further to the false teaching of the Jehovah Witnesses concerning that man is a free moral agent, that man has a will separate and apart from the will and intent of God. They go on and in page 5 of the Watchtower and tell this lie of monumental proportions, in that mankind has a free will apart and separate from the will or intent of God. What did Jesus Christ have to say about his own free will? He had none my friends! (He was not free to do anything on his own, not one ounce of free will) "I can do nothing on My own initiative. ( Did we get that? He was able to do nothing on His own ). As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, ( Clearly, Christ has no free will, and neither do any of us ) but the will of Him who sent Me. (John 5:30) Christ can do only whatever he sees the Father doing. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counselof his own will: (Ephesians 1:11) Once all things have been worked out by the will of God, it doesn’t leave any room for the will of man to be worth a plugged nickel, or even to exist for that matter. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. (John 15: 4 - 5) So my friends, the WORD says that we can do nothing without Christ. Whom do we believe our church or the Word of God? Or will we go to one of our leaders and seek out how they go about twisting the Word of God to suit and serve the custom, ritual and tradition of what is now being taught and believed within their ranks, under their own mind control?

The will of man is an illusion?

We will go over it again!  Free will visited again; supposed, thought of and believed to exist by a deceived Christianity and being taught to naïve and gullible church goers the world over, without scriptural documentation. Lest I be misunderstood, let me be clear here that I do understand that all of these multiple thousands of denominations, splinter groups and the like of which I speak that circle the globe, are the people of God.

Believe your church or the Word… Which?

(Colossians 1:15 - 16) Christ has created the waster (Satan) to destroy as we see here in Isaiah. "But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.… (John 8: 43 - 45)

Satan was a murderer from the beginning. Notice how this does away with the hocus pocus teaching that Satan morphed himself into existence, citing as the custom and ritual of the Babylon of confusion traditionally do in the false assumption that Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 is describing the fall of Satan. It is clearly talking about the king of Babylon in Isaiah 14 from verse 4 through verse 11. Eight different verses talking about the king of Babylon… THEN! My question now to you Jehovah Witnesses, is this! As I have already pointed out in many scriptures, Christ telling us, “I tell you the truth, but you believe me not”. OR “The world’s sin is unbelief in me”. Which do you believe? Do you believe your church, or the Word of God?

If your church (Whatever the name of your church, Whom ever or where ever you are on this earth) teaches contrary to the truth that it was God alone that created Satan exactly and precisely as he is, to do the precise and exact service against mankind he was given by God to do, you have a decision to make to please God. Either believe your church which in effect puts it before your God, or believe God. Satan is under strict and tight control of God at all times, he can go only so far as God will allow at any given time, and not one inch farther. Read (Job 1: 6 - 12) to fully understand how this works. Satan has been created as a necessary tool in the hands of God, to bring all of mankind up to His own level of immortal, spirit life. To have life as God and His Christ have life. We cannot become like God without knowing both good and evil. My friends, God is reproducing Himself in mankind.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, to be just like us in all ways. (Genesis 1:26) For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, (To be made just like Him in all ways) that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:29) Or do we refuse to believe God, electing instead to believe our church? Will it take the great white throne judgment and the aftermath thereof to bring us into the eternal presence of God as an immortal, spirit being? I could say more on this subject, but elect not to at this time. Let me close this part off by saying I do admire the JW’s dedication to their beliefs as well as the spreading it throughout the world to others in their tireless attempt to help people to know God, within their limited ability and understanding to do so. Like I have already said I believe they are the people of God. Identified as such in Revelation 18:4, And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This is the same scripture I had to recognize and deal with after thirty five years of church attendance. I came out of the Babylon of confusion some fifteen years ago or so and God continues to reveal His truth to me as I am able to bear it. I read the JW literature when it is given to me and have gleaned much value from the content within the areas that I accept as the truth according to the Word of God. Their teaching however would clearly prevent any of their members from accepting and believing the truth of God revealed in the pages of their own bibles, if their own church did not teach it as the truth. In this way, anyone following a church teaching opposed to the Word and way of God is putting their church before God. The church in effect has become a part of their empirical self, just as the other denominations and splinter groups spoken of. Seeking for themselves the commandments of men, looking to the church for the answers that they should be seeking from the Word of God. I will add what I believe to be a pertinent piece here below from the internet. Some insight that we can either accept or reject according as the Holy Spirit will lead us into Godly understanding. The fact remains however, God is not even attempting to reach most of mankind at this time. Christ spoke in parables to hide the truth. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’” (Mark 4: 11 - 12)

                                                                                     A piece from the internet:

The religious world today seems to be more concerned than ever with the unity of the church. The reason for this is because there is so much religious division in the world. All are tired of it. And yet, unity can never come about with the religious bodies of men agreeing to disagree. The division will still be there. There may be some degree of union or harmony, but that is all. What is the answer? The answer lies in the Bible itself. In order for true unity to exist, men must lay down their teachings, doctrines, names, churches, creeds, books, etc. They must pick up the Bible. They must read and study it. They must believe it. They must obey it. Then there can be genuine unity, the kind the Lord prayed for in John 17. When men do this, they will all believe the same thing. All will obey the same teachings. All will wear the same name. All will work together. All will teach the same thing. All will belong in eternity. It will be easy for unity to exist when men quit following men and begin to follow Christ.

The Bible condemns division.

The Bible says God hates those who sow division or discord among the brethren (Proverbs 6:19). In 1 Corinthians 1, we are told of the church at Corinth becoming divided. The apostle Paul took immediate steps to destroy the cause of it. He began by saying, "Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment" (1 Corinthians 1:10). Then he asked three questions. The questions were: "Is Christ divided?" "Was Paul crucified for you?" "Were you baptized in the name of Paul?" In all three questions they would have to answer "NO." He showed how terrible their division was. The apostle Paul wrote the brethren at Rome, "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent." (Romans 16:17-18). In Colossians 2:20-22, he says, "If ye died with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, do ye subject yourselves to ordinances, Handle not, nor taste, nor touch (all which things are to perish with the using), after the precepts and doctrines of men?"

All of this is to say that (1) the teachings of men, (2) the doctrines and commands of men, (3) exalting men, (4) accepting and following books other than the Bible, are all things which cause division. On the other hand, unity can be had and enjoyed only as one follows Christ. It was Christ who prayed, "Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word; that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me" (John 17:20-21). Did Christ pray for the impossible? No! Surely then there can be unity. When? When we simply follow Christ.  Man-made teaching will divide us. Bible teaching will unite us. In Ephesians 4:1-6, we are told how to have unity. Listen to it: "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all." Notice that this is a plea for unity. Notice, too, there is but one of each of the things listed. Who ever got the idea there was more than one? I hope you took special note that God is in all.

The unity of the church is seen in that Christ said He would build HIS church (Matthew 16:18), meaning ONE. It is His spiritual body (1 Corinthians 12:27). He is the head of it (Colossians 1:18). Surely, one would not accuse Christ of having two bodies or two heads. The church is also pictured as the house of God, or the family of God (1 Timothy 3:15). But how many houses or families?  One, of course. We read of the kingdom of Christ, or the kingdom of God, with Christ as king (John 3:3-5; Colossians 4:11; 1 Timothy 6:15). How many kingdoms does the Lord have? How many kings are there? Just one in both cases. On and on we could go. Surely the Bible is opposed to the very thought of denominationalism, that which is division. On the other hand, it pictures unity, oneness, completeness, and wholeness. The Bible does not picture the church as being a body made up of all religious people regardless of their beliefs and practices. It does picture the church as belonging to Christ. It is made up of those called out, the saved, who have followed Christ and have obeyed His teaching. Christ is not divided. His church is not divided. To be divided, or to uphold division in any way, is to oppose Christ and that for which He prayed. (End quote)

All will know Me from the least to the greatest

There is however good news coming within the future of all of us human beings made in the image and likeness of God and Jesus Christ. Here is what the Word has to say about that. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:11) May our Almighty God hasten that day, spoken of again in Jeremiah. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (Jeremiah 31:34) I quit attending brick and mortar churches many years ago; believing that we now must worship God in spirit and in truth. "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4: 23 - 24)

The flesh profits nothing; there is not one single physical thing that a person can do to make themselves spiritual. Christ has already done it all for us, all of us in the grand finale of things to come. When He announced, “It is finished”. He had accomplished all the Father had sent Him to do. Our sins have all been removed as far away from us as the east is from the west. As far away as the east is from the west, is how far God has removed our sins from us. (Psalm 103:12) Going to a church of brick and mortar until one is blue in the face will accomplish absolutely nothing of spiritual importance unless they are being subjected to the truth of God revealed in our bibles. As explained above, for the most part, that is nonexistent; it is a measure of truth mixed with a heavy helping of the commandments of men, taught as the doctrine of God. Some of which I pointed out earlier in this letter) However short of the mark I may fall, I claim to belong to the church that Christ is building now, here on earth. I am in the body of Christ, as He also is in me. I believe what His Word tells me as I am able to understand and bear it. At the same time I know as well that He will never give me more understanding than I can bear at any time.

The most egregious, evil, ungodly outright lie of monumental proportions believed and taught to others for them to accept and to believe as the truth of God by the Babylon of confusion; is the hell myth. Preaching and teaching their gullible flocks that the God of love; our Almighty Father God is either going to punish most all of His own children that He claims to love; by tossing them into a literal lake of fire and watch them all writhe in pain and agony for all eternity without one second of relief. While He looks on in His omnipresent, immortal, spirit condition and somehow get His jollies seeing billions of His children suffer on forever. Or He is going to make Himself out to be the greatest liar that ever existed by doing away with and ending their existence completely. (However this in itself would be an impossible thing to do; since spirit cannot die. Our old physical bodies die and return to the soil from which they came; while in that same instant our spirit returns to God that had given it to us. Here is another truth they all miss. We have all existed in God before time began; we will all exist in Him and He in us forever)  Even though He promised eternal life to all of mankind. Thereby as well causing both Himself and His Son Jesus Christ both to forever be identified as liars and losers. God missed the boat in figuring out how to bring it all about; and His Son wasn’t up to the task and failed in bringing it about. Never mind the fact that they continue to preach and teach fear religion that is totally opposite of the Word and way of God. They can all see the words; they can read them but don’t accept them as the truth of God. They don’t believe them because God has not yet given them the ability to do so. Yet in their mass confusion, they one and all make the claim of knowing and understanding the truth that other Christians cannot and do not know. They continue to tie their spiritual apron strings to their churches teachings; while turning their collective backs on the Word and the way of our Almighty God and Father.

Learn a little more truth here my brothers and sisters; about what Christ has to say. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16: 12 - 15) No matter what church or religious organization we belong to and accept as teaching the true Word of God, no matter the name of the church or the manner in which we have been programmed to accept and to believe their teachings, unless the Lord shall build the house, the weary builder toils in vain. We have a choice, whether to believe God or the church we belong to. Millions are being called now and through the past ages, however only a few are being chosen. For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14) We all would be foolish to think Christ would choose anyone not believing His truth, to rule with Him during His thousand year millennial reign here on earth. Here is what His Word has to say about it. And we shall reign on the earth." Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. (Those chosen out of the many called, whom actually do believe Christ) Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6) Notice if you will, where Christ will be ruling…. Here on earth! May this short piece help you to sort out and accept truth from biblical fiction.

I have been repetitious in going over some things again and again for the benefit of the reader. Repetition is a well-known accepted system of teaching lessons of truth to others. I would like to leave you all with what I believe is a portion of the problem why; “The Babylon of Confusion” is unable to come to the understanding of the truth of God. According to the Word of God they cannot understand and believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all of mankind without even one exception; number one is because they refuse to believe Him. Number two is because He is not revealing it to them at this time. Number three is because of what we read in (2nd Corinthians 4:3-5) And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.… Number four can be found in the Word and truth of God in (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12) for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

PS. My intention here has not been to demonize any one religious belief more than any other religious group identifying themselves as Christians; or to pick on the Jehovah’s Witnesses more than any other of the thousands of denominations and splinter groups of which I speak of as being held captive in the teachings of the Babylon of confusion. The God of all heaven and earth is a sovereign God, and as such He is in control of all things and all of the time. We are all exactly and precisely where He wants each one of us to be at any given time. Individually we have no say in the matter at all. His plan from the beginning to reproduce Himself is right on perfect track and cannot fail. "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; (Isaiah 46: 9 - 10) Just what is that purpose and plan of God in doing all of His good pleasure? Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness, (Genesis 1:26) (There it is my brothers and sisters) what is Their (God and Christ’) image and likeness? They are omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and immutable, the same yesterday, today and forever. We are in the process of being made to last forever just as They now are. What an awesome future awaits us all. This is the truth of God that you can accept, believe and teach to others. God is the potter and we are the lump of clay. When in the grand finale of things to come, when God has finished molding and remolding us by knocking off some rough edges through trials, tribulation, and pain and sorrow that can be hard to bear at times. We all will be like our Father God and older brother Jesus Christ. We, like Them will remain in that immortal, spirit condition for all eternity, forever! I am well aware that God has not revealed all of His truth to me at this time, still I hope I have given you in Christian love; some bible truth here to help you along in your walk with our Father God and His Son Jesus Christ.

Your Brother in Christ,
