WHEN I SAY I BELIEVE CHRIST

By Leith Cunningham

Our friend gave us an inspirational poem to read the other day, entitled, “I am a Christian” It was a good and thought provoking poem. It inspired me to return the poem along with a song of the same nature that has always helped me to see God in my life and existence. It also inspired me to sit down and tell the world or anyone else whom would listen, as to why I believe Christ. I have titled it, “When I say I believe Christ”. I further believe that I know the why that God does everything that He does. Because He is God, there is no other like Him, He is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and immutable. ( He changes not ).He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will do all of His pleasure and He does everything that He does because it suits and serves His purpose and plan to do it that way. A song below, that we all may be familiar with that has helped me  to feel the presence of God in my life.

Amazing Grace Lyrics

John Newton (1725-1807)

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see.

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear. And Grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come; 'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far and Grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess within the veil, A life of joy and peace.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease; I shall profess, within the vail, A life of joy and peace.

The following stanza was written by an anonymous author, often replacing the sixth stanza, or inserted as the fourth.

When we've been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun. We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we've first begun.

Chorus:

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch like me.

I once was lost but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see.

WHEN I SAY I BELIEVE CHRIST

Written by: Leith Cunningham 7/5/2014

When I say I believe Christ, I mean it! I do believe Him and like many before and after me, I am working and trying to follow the Word and the way of God, but fail most every day in so doing. ( The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak ).

When I say I believe Christ, It means that I have accepted the sacrifice of Jesus Christ whom willingly died a painful death of crucifixion to pay the price for all sins, for all people, for all time, past, present and future.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I know that I have been forgiven and that nothing in the universe will separate me from the love of God.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe that all of mankind will be saved without even one exception.

When I say I believe Christ, I believe the saving includes Satan, the demons and in fact all of creation, again as the scripture states it.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe Him when He tells us that He has created everything there is within the universe. Telling us as well that nothing exists that He didn’t make. Consequently, that means He created Satan and the demons too.

When I say I believe Christ, That means I believe Him when He tells us He will restore and reconcile everything in existence back to our Father God. ( which includes Satan and the demons ) Then to complete the cycle, He ( Christ ) will at that time subject Himself back under God the Father, where God will then become all in all, or everything to everybody.

When I say I believe Christ, That means that I believe that Jesus Christ is whom He claims to be. The Savior of all, not a weak, effeminate savior the world ( or more specifically, the mainstream Christian world, the religious world, the Babylon of confusion world, the counterfeit Christian world ) portrays Him to be, that can save only a few.

When I say I believe Christ, I believe He has already done all that the Father God has given Him to do. The Father has given all things into His hands, and He has not, nor will not lose any that the Father has given Him.

When I say I believe Christ, It means I believe His Word telling us that He is the Savior of all creation. I believe it has already happened, it is not something that is going to happen in some future moment in time. All of humanity have Christ’ own guarantee and word on the matter. The future of all mankind has been secured by our older brother Jesus Christ, and God the Father will not allow it to be denied.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I would like to puke when I hear preachers of so called Christian churches preach and teach to their congregations the satanic lie that God will either destroy them altogether or burn most all of humanity up alive, in the raging flames of hell for trillions of trillions of years without one second of relief.

When I say I believe Christ, and see people every week heading into their favorite church to hear this type of swill, passed off as the truth of God, where their own mothers, fathers, sons, daughters and friends will most likely be heading according to that belief. Then believing as they must that they are serving a loving God, believing they all have it coming and have chosen that way. It’s like a dog returning to its own vomit.

When I say I believe Christ, and hear the above deception being passed off as the truth of God, it saddens me that so much of the world lives in such abject, satanic darkness. Waiting for the return of Christ to reveal the wonderful truth of God.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I go beyond believing in Jesus Christ, I actually believe Jesus Christ. I believe what He tells us in the bible.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I know that I have been forgiven all of my sins, past, present and future. That God has removed them as far away from me as the east is from the west.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that my salvation is secure in Christ and cannot ever be taken away from me.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I trust in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to have already paid the price for all of humanity, for all time. All of humanity has been declared righteous, as pure as the driven snow. Not by anything we have done, but what Christ has done for us.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I have given up celebrating days and seasons of the year. The customs, rituals and traditions that the world celebrates apart from the Word of God.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I do not celebrate or believe that the use of the name of Christ should be used by attaching it to pagan originated days such as Christmas or Easter. I believe that is using the name of God in vain.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I should forgive others, as Christ has forgiven me.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe that God is in control of everything and all of the time.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe God is doing exactly what He claims to be doing when He tells us in the bible that He is making mankind in His own image, after the likeness of Himself and His Son Jesus Christ.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe those words that He said, showing us that God is in the process of reproducing Himself in all of mankind. In other words, we are to become as God and Christ now are.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe we are all destined to become immortal, spirit beings, to live on for all eternity without pain, suffering or tears of sorrow.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe we all will have life as God and Christ have life, it is not our choice, we do not have a free will to reject the free gift that God has given us in eternal life. God had planned it all out before the first person was ever born on this earth, and it will come about exactly as He has planned it to be.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe that all of mankind have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We all have worked for and deserve the penalty of death, permanent and lasting death. But Christ living a perfect physical life here on earth without ever sinning once, being greater than all of mankind combined, His sacrifice then removed the death penalty from all of humanity, thereby, causing God to declare us all perfect, not because of anything we have done, but because of what His Son has done for us.

When I say I believe Christ, it means when He was crucified without any cause, never having sinned even once. Doing all that the Father had given Him to do, then in His last breath of life asking His Father God to forgive all of mankind because they know not what they do. At that point in time God the Father honored the prayer of Jesus Christ His only begotten Son. All of mankind were forgiven and their salvation became certain.

When I say I believe Christ, it means I believe when He announced to the world and those attending His crucifixion, also during His last breaths of life, saying, “it is finished”. Again the work the Father had given Him to do at that time was all finished, man kinds fate had been sealed. God the Father who cannot lie had no other option, nor did He desire one, than to save all of mankind as He had promised to do from before the beginning of the world.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe and know when terrible trouble and afflictions come upon us, it is allowed and often brought upon us directly or indirectly by God. He is the potter and we are the clay, He will mold and shape us in the way that pleases Him. The fiery trials and tribulations that come upon us, are intended for our long range good. To bring us eventually up to the level that He requires for us all to belong to His kingdom.

When I say I believe Christ, it means when we once have been broken and smashed to pieces by God the Potter, ( having gone through many heartaches, pain and sorrow ) and we still remain in a state of rebellion and defiance against His way. He will again as the bible tells us, start all over with the lump of clay that we are, and again smash the defiant lump of clay that we are, and again place us on His potters wheel to remold and remake us into what He wishes and wants us to eventually be. We have absolutely no say in the matter at all.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I reject any and all of the false teachings of the Babylon of confusion one by one as I am able to recognize them as such. The Babylon of confusion teachings of custom, ritual and tradition are being believed and taught simply because so many supposed Christian teachers before us believed in and taught them to their own naïve congregations. Without ever bothering to seek and search out the truth from the Word of God. It is my goal and desire to eradicate and extricate out of my heart and mind all hocus pocus religious teachings that have entered into Christianity by way of the Babylon of confusion. All of the reported multiple thousands of churches, denominations, splinter groups, and such, no matter what names they attach to themselves. Chief among them being the Catholic church and all of her prostitute daughters. The Baptist church, the Protestant church, the Lutheran church, the Mormon church, the Jehovah Witnesses, the Pentecostal church, as on and on it goes.

The ones that God tells us what we should do if we find ourselves in one of those multiple thousands of churches that preach and teach contrary to the Word and the way of God. Any church preaching and teaching us that the Son of God is but a partial Savior. A Savior that will not and cannot save all of creation. A church that preaches and teaches custom, ritual and tradition to its converts in place of the truth of God. It behooves us claiming to be followers of God and His Son Jesus Christ to remove ourselves from these false churches as the God of all heaven and earth requires of us in the following Word of God. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. ( Revelation 18:4 ) I did that many years ago now; because it is not a suggestion from God; it is a commandment from God.

When I say I believe Christ, It means I believe that we all without question are going to be saved and belong in eternity as immortal, spirit beings. We therefore are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. The elect of God or first fruits first, to be resurrected to rule with Christ on earth during His thousand year reign known as the millennium. They will be first and changed at His return. All others not having attained to the first resurrection will then be resurrected at the great white throne judgment known as the 2nd resurrection. All will be called, all will come, all will be saved.

Rejoice and be glad in knowing these things my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Things that most of you have not known or have not been taught it by your church.

When I say I believe Christ, it means that I believe that God will do all of His pleasure as it suits His purpose and plan for mankind. He will do exactly what His Word tells us He will do. He will work all things out after the counsel of His own will. The will of man has no effect whatsoever on the will and the way of God from before the world began. Man has not been given a choice or voice in the matter at all, his / our destiny is now and always has been in the hands of God; and it is an impossibility for God to fail.
