Free Will Exposed

By Leith Cunningham

I came into this world with a blank slate. Nothing at all written upon it. Like all the rest of humanity, I was totally dependant upon the efforts of others to begin teaching me things that I would need to know. My parents were first to begin that process as I grew and developed with the ability to absorb and retain that which they were teaching me. Neither one of my parents were big on teaching me spiritual truth, because they didn’t know it themselves. Our mother taught us the bedtime prayer and mentioned God periodically. Our father used the name of God in vain as he cursed and swore about the neighbors, our mother or at the horses, cows and other animals that always seemed to keep him upset. Consequently, I was raised up with next to nothing when it came to understanding anything about God. I began to pick up different understanding about God from those around me, religious school kids or from people in general.

I basically learned if I was good I would be going to heaven when I died, if I was bad I would be going to hell. In my late thirties I had a spiritual awakening and spent the next thirty plus years going to church and supposedly learning the truth of God. I learned if I was good I would be going to heaven when I died, if I was bad I would either be annihilated and done away with altogether, or suffer day and night in hell for all eternity. Along with that I learned I was a free moral agent, I had a will free and apart from the will and intent of God. In my seeking and searching for the actual truth of God for the past fifteen plus years, I now know I was being lied to. I hope you’ll glean some spiritual insight from this piece I have taken the time to write for those that also need to know the truth.

Does mankind have a free will apart from God?

For many years the church I belonged to, taught that man is a free moral agent, that man has a free will apart from God. It was a teaching that everyone accepted as the truth without ever examining it in the light of the Word of God. I would like to spend some time here looking into the truth of this matter. The very first Word of God that comes to my mind on this subject is in Ephesians. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: ( Ephesians 1:11 ) This alone seems to indicate that God determines the course of all things after the counsel of His own will, not leaving any room for the will of man to enter into it at all. "Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. ( Isaiah 1:18 ) ( NIV ) Come Let Us Reason seeks to demonstrate Christianity as a logical, defensible faith. Let us consider the following suggestions to help us in our understanding of the truth of God in this.

Is it free will?

Men make choices and decisions every day, but something (or Someone) creates a circumstance that causes these decisions. If I scratch my body (my own choice), I do it because I have an itch. If I eat a meal (my own choice), I do so because I am hungry. If I hurt another person (my choice), I do so because they did some harm to me. For every choice we make, there is a cause greater than the choice. It is your basic cause/effect principle. For every effect (in this case our choice), there is some cause that prompted the action. As no one would deny that God is sovereign over all things (including Satan), it is God who can change circumstances as He pleases to bring about the desired effect. In this way, we may think we are totally independent from God in the choices we make, but in reality, there is Someone greater than ourselves working behind the scenes to bring about a perfectly orchestrated finale. God is the great conductor who controls and leads men to respond with a simple wave of His baton. But to our own little bug like mind compared to that of God, we imagine it is all of our own volition.

Do We Really Have "Free Will?"

We must understand that man does not have "free will" even when he thinks he does. Why do corporations pay a million dollars per minute to advertise during the Super Bowl game? Because it works! Why does it work? Because if you repeat something often enough, people will respond to it and do what you want them to do -- buy your product, join your church, etc. Repetition is a well recognized way to change the minds of the masses. It was a method that Hitler and his henchman the propaganda minister Goebbels, along with the German nation used coming into and during WW11. Larges masses of people can and will be influenced consciously or subconsciously, to change their mind and do something they hadn't intended to do.

Their "free will" has been manipulated by someone else! Sophisticated research has been carried out for many decades to develop methods to change peoples minds about a product or an issue, political or religious. We make our decisions based on a combination of what we see and experience as well as what is in our subconscious. Making it easy for those well experienced in this field, to use their own expertise to subvert and influence the minds of others. We have very little control over what is in our subconscious. Many circumstances in our lives are not under our control, yet these same circumstances, in conjunction with our subconscious mind, are a large part of our ultimate decision-making. Many persons imagine that they are carrying out their own free will when, in fact, they are really carrying out the will of another whom has a greater influence over their mind, than they themselves do. Without realizing it, they can be led into all sorts of perversion and false teachings, according as others would have them to do, to serve their own egotistical and selfish desires.

The control of the will

When a man/woman or child makes up their mind, their will, they subconsciously consider their own ego, the contacts they have made in the world about themselves, the psychology of the moment, including at times, the state of their stomach, and the condition of their finances. If you are wise enough, you could probably make up their minds for them. In fact, wise men have always acted on this principle. They do not attempt to capture the will of others by a frontal attack. They know that "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." So they execute a flank movement around the side. They seek to change or modify one or more of the factors which compose man's will. If a child will not eat healthful food, then let it go hungry for a while. If a child refuses to give up a sharp knife with which it might cut itself, then you offer it a more desirable plaything.

Mankind is made up of a carnal nature, a well known ploy or tool being used on us from the beginning, to change or influence our mind and opinion, is that of envy, jealousy, lust and greed. I was at one time a licensed insurance salesman for example. We were specifically instructed by those in charge, those over us, to appeal to our potential clients envy, jealously, lust and greed, to sell their products, because it works! Satan and his ministers are master craftsmen and do their collective jobs well in this area. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. ( 2nd Corinthians 11: 13 - 15 ) Appealing to the envy, jealously, lust and greed within each of us on a continuous and repeated basis, is just one thing among many other deceptive ploys that can and will cause a change within our own will.

Mankind will refuse to believe God

Few men and women ever attain maturity in such matters as these, and all people may be made to change their mind by the very factors which have formed it in the first place. God is in control of everything that takes place in the universe, and all of the time. If He were not in control, the universe would be a madhouse. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ( Matthew 28:18 ) Other translations includes all power as well. Keeping that firmly in mind, that all power and authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Christ, doesn’t allow for any outside power or authority to exist, that Jesus Christ does not control. Throughout the Word of God, man's will is always subordinated to the will of God.

Temporarily man's will appears to oppose God and is contrary to God's revelation in the Bible, but ultimately man's will works God's way. The Bible says that God "hardened" Pharaoh's heart (Exodus 9:12) to do exactly the opposite of what God appeared to want done. This is the way God works. God provides opposition to His Word in order to manifest Himself. In order for God to reveal Himself to His creatures, it is God's will that His revealed will be opposed. In other words, God gave us the 10 Commandments, knowing that we would not be able to keep them, knowing that our carnal nature would be in opposition to this revealed will of His. Christ tells us the truth but we will not believe Him. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. ( John 8: 45 ) Our spiritual well being at some point hinges on believing the Word of God.

The encouragement of God, to His children

We should ask ourselves why it was that God, Himself, put the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil right in the middle of the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve couldn't possibly avoid it? They had to walk by it every day and notice how tempting the fruit ( or whatever ) hanging from the tree looked so inviting. Where they would be repeatedly enticed into eating from it? Where their temptation would be overwhelming? If we don't want a little child to handle, and possibly break, fragile glass objects, we don't place those objects in easy reach of the child. We put them in a closet or on a high shelf where they will not be tempting to the little child. Yet God did exactly the opposite with Adam and Eve. He placed the forbidden tree right in the middle of the Garden, where they couldn't possibly avoid it.

Then He told them "Don't eat of it." God knew well what He was doing, Adam and Eve did not know, they were just told, “Do not eat of it”. It was inevitable that they should and would falter and cave in to temptation. God had planned it so from the beginning. God knew before the world began that it would require His Son Jesus Christ to come to earth, to be born of a human woman, to grow to maturity having been given a full measure of the Spirit of God, without ever once sinning, there-by being worth more than all of mankind combined. Making His sacrificed life, payment in full for all sin for all time, past, present and future. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God--who does not lie--promised them before the world began. ( Titus 1: 2 ) ( NLT ) so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. ( Titus 3:7 ) God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. ( Hebrews 6:18 )

Christ has no free will

God plants impulses in the human heart, the mind, and our whole being, as He surrounds men with influences that impel them to oppose God's revelation, just like God did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is imperative that God should be at odds with His creatures. It is essential that their wills withstand His will. Men imagine that they are in control of their own will and that no one can break their resolution, not even God. But this is foolishness. To suggest that God has created a world full of flesh and blood human beings, with absolute wills, is to dethrone God. One whom claims to have free will has just declared themselves greater then our Savior Jesus Christ, The One whom has created all things in heaven and on earth. The One whom claims to have no free will at all. Read the Word of God below that testifies to this fact. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. ( John 5:30 ) For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. ( So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. ( John 8:28 )

For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. ( John 12:49 ) I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." ( John 12:50 ) Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. ( John 14:10 ) How many times has Christ told us that He can do nothing on his own, ( exercises no free will at all, not even the slightest bit ) but does only what he sees the Father doing? And yet! How few believe Him? How many feel greater than Christ Himself, whom had no free will. But by accepting, believing and teaching they do themselves, then teach it on to others, they unwittingly become tools in the hands of Satan, the god of this world. They perpetuate this lie because their church has told them it is true?

God rules within the hearts of men

However, God does give mankind the inner feeling that he has self-determination. It is essential to God's purpose that His creatures should be oblivious of the power which impels them, for their response must be without conscious constraint. God, is the only Being in the universe who is unhampered by the chains of circumstance. God creates the circumstances in the lives of all of us. He is in control of all things and all of the time. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ( Matthew 28:18 ) Another translation has it, “All power has been given to Him. So with all power and authority given to Christ, there is no other power or authority anywhere in the universe that is able to effect or change in any way the ultimate purpose and plan of God before the world began. in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,. ( Titus 1:2 ) The most powerful leaders of the earth are placed into positions of authority and power by God. ( we may run down to the voting booths with puffed up chests and a heavy dose of vanity, believing we have installed our choice for president. We are as one with our heads stuck up our own wazoos, we are deluding ourselves into believing such satanic deception ). The leaders, kings, rulers, and presidents will no doubt suppose it is all because of their own greatness and power of wills.

But the Word of God has the truth recorded. The King's heart is in the hands of the Lord, He turns it wherever He desires. ( Proverbs. 21:1 ) The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’ ( Daniel 4:17 ) New International Version (NIV) Read in Daniel chapter 5 how God taught king Nebuchadnezzar a powerful lesson on thinking and believing it was by his own will and might that he became great. It took the king seven years to get that message before God restored him again to greatness. Will we be able to get that message without having to learn it the hard way ourselves? And they shall drive thee ( King Nebuchadnezzar ) from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times ( years ) shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. ( Daniel 4:32 ) It is a done deal, so says the Word of God.

And giveth it to whomsoever he will - That is, he gives dominion over men to whomsoever he chooses. It is not by human ordering, or by arrangements among men. It is not by hereditary right; not by succession; not by conquest; not by usurpation; not by election, that this matter is finally determined; it is by the decree and purpose of God. He can remove the hereditary prince by death; he can cause him to be set aside by granting success to a usurper; he can dispose of a crown by conquest; he can cut off the conqueror by death, and transfer the crown to an inferior officer; he can remove one who was the united choice of a people by death, and put another in his place. So the apostle Paul says, "There is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God" (Romans 13:1 ).

Believe and accept the truth of God

For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. ( God sets up and takes down all leaders as it suits his purpose. ) ( Psalms 75: 6 - 7 ) English Standard Version (ESV) He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. ( Daniel 2:21 ) ( NLT ) The highest and most powerful of earth's leaders play the part that God assigns them, though they don't know it. There is only one independent "free" will in the universe, and that is the will of God. In order to bring about His purpose, men must not be aware that they "live and move and have their being" in Him. The false "free will" that men believe they have, is the result of man being oblivious to God's ways.

God provides opposition to His truth in order to make Himself known. Men imagine that their will is independent of God's will. Since they are unable to understand the behind the scenes influence that make up their own decisions, they delude themselves into thinking that their will is independent. Going beyond that, we learn that we are now instructed to worship God in spirit and in truth. The old testament was set aside and made null and void to make room for the new testament or new covenant. Yet there is much to be learned from the old testament or covenant as well. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. ( 2nd Timothy 3: 16 - 17 ) We must study the Word of God diligently while making certain we haven’t been taken in by the church teaching that opposes the truth of God. Thereby relegating the actual Word of God to the scrapheap and living by every wind of doctrine taught by the church.

Go back and read about Joseph

The story of Joseph and his brothers is a perfect example of God's way of working in our lives. Joseph's brothers were opposing the "will of God" by selling Joseph into slavery. They broke several of the Commandments, including "Thou shalt not kill" as Jesus said hating your brother in your heart is the same as murder. In addition, they lied to their father about what had happened to Joseph. But by resisting "God's will" they actually fulfilled God's ultimate intention. For by selling their brother Joseph into slavery, they eventually produced their own earthly "savior", who saved them from death by famine and who protected and nurtured the very origin of God's fledgling nation, Israel. Joseph, after he became the leader of Egypt under Pharaoh, was able to sustain his entire family by providing food for them and by providing a fertile area for them to live in, to multiply and begin the entire nation of Israel. When the whole episode was over and their father Jacob had died, the brothers then thought Joseph would take revenge, and they pleaded for their lives. They went before him and fell before his face, terrified that he would now have them killed. But we are told in Genesis 50:19,20 that Joseph said unto them, "Fear not, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." There's the answer. That's the way God works. He sets us up against Him, and our sin ultimately leads to our salvation. God always brings good out of bad. The more we resist Him and the farther down we go, the more we will realize our ultimate need is to depend entirely upon Him.

All of creation to be saved

Go back again and read the story of Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery, we can see that their own evil against Joseph ultimately led to their own conversion, repentance and salvation. It was a hard struggle and a lifetime of grief and guilt, but the entire family was saved and God had worked out His ultimate intention. One way to understand this whole issue is to study the Word of God -- The words of God! The specific words in the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures are very meaningful and have, in many places, been mistranslated in the King James Version of the Bible, and in many other versions as well. In Paul's letter to Timothy (2 Tim 1:13) he tells Timothy "to have a pattern of sound words."

For instance, God's "will" is often watered down to a mere "wish" or changed to only a "desire." These mistranslations assure us that God does not "will" that all mankind be saved (1 Tim 2:4) but that He merely "desires" it. And since man wills otherwise, God is apparently powerless and impotent in the face of this "superior force" of man's human determination. How absurd! We need to stop and think about the foolishness we get all wrapped up in when we believe such nonsense as mankind having a will free separate from that of our God. It is a blatant attempt at usurping the power and authority that only God possesses. Lets decide to believe the Word of God instead of the evil forces of the ministers of Satan, masquerading as angel of light. We find here in Philippians 2:13 where it says that "it is God who is operating in us to will and to do His good pleasure." To summarize, we can resist God's will as revealed in the Bible (The 10 Commandments), but we cannot resist His ultimate intention, which is to save all of mankind and in truth and in fact all of creation.

So, where do we go from here?

There is much more about free will on websites a plenty that will help us come to the truth of this matter. There are many sites that expose the falsehood of man having a free will apart from God. They are all free and we are without obligation to believe, to accept or to belong to any church or organization. We have already learned according to the Word of God, that we need not that any man teach us, the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth. I made the mistake of spending over thirty five years in a church that taught that man is a free moral agent. That man has a free will separate and apart from the will and intent of God. Questioning our church teaching was taught and believed to be a sin, we should accept their teachings as coming right straight from the mouth of God. That is a blatant lie, it is the exact opposite of being the truth. And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul's message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. ( Acts 17: 10 - 12 )

We should not turn our mind over to any one single church ( with the exception of the church that Christ is building ) or minister and accept without question what is being taught either. I did that and found out much later how much error I had been programmed to believe. The problem with belonging to a certain church and accepting only their concept of the truth, causes us to be vulnerable to slowly having that church take the place of God. We begin in a subtle way to recognize and worship the church and its teachings above the Word of God. The church has become a part of our empirical self. If we for example have not received the love of the truth, here is what the true Word of God has to say about it in 2nd Thessalonians. and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. ( 2nd Thessalonians 2:10 - 12 ). ( Many have not received the love of the truth )

You will know the truth and it will set you free

Accepting and believing the truth then is imperative to our spiritual life. We must be willing at all times to seek out and search for the truth that God has left recorded within the pages of our bibles. If the Word we are reading is different than that which we are being taught, then it is time to let the Holy Spirit of God lead us into the right direction. Do not continue on in a false understanding. It has been reported that there are over 650000 Christian churches, denominations and splinter groups around the world that all teach a little different variation of what they consider to be the truth.

Most, if not all will claim or believe, that they have the right understanding. Some go so far as to claim that they are the ONE true church of God. To believe or to make the claim of something doesn’t mean anything if it cannot be shown to be true in the Word of God. That is the specific reason that I am spending time here to prove to anyone interested in the truth, that teaching and/or believing that mankind has a free will apart and separate from the will and intent of God is a false concept, it is instead a lie.

Possibly not intentional, but a lie never the less. Probably a lie by omission, leaving out information that would bring another person into a misunderstanding of the subject being looked at. Such as that which we are discussing here today. The teaching that mankind has a free will. But what does God say? "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will." ( Proverbs 21:1 ) It is God's will which will be done on earth and in Heaven. Not man's. Man is only "free" to make choices. You can not say man has a "free will" and then limit it's capability and potential. That is not a "free will" because it is not "free" to do as it wills. It's not that difficult to apprehend or comprehend, if we but study to show ourselves approved, and do as those of Berea did in checking out the truth of what the apostle Paul was believing and teaching them to believe.

Consider these things

Let us remember a truth that has escaped us. As little babies we all were born without any knowledge or understanding at all. Unlike the animal, insect or fish kingdom coming into the world with an instinct that leads them in the direction they should go, we are in need of being taught everything we need to know to survive and to thrive in a much greater capacity of wisdom, knowledge and understanding then they possess. Geese for example are programmed to fly south for the winter for survival. Salmon are programmed to go upstream to spawn at a certain and exact time each year. God has built that aspect within all of the animal kingdom, the birds and the bees, the flowers and trees, and everything that exists has a spirit that determines its growth, development and life cycle.

God is spirit, not a spirit, there is but one spirit within the universe. That is the spirit of God that propels all things in a certain and specific direction to suit His own purpose and plan that is exactly and precisely on track in every moment of time. God is in control of everything and all of the time. He is in control of educating us in the way that we should go. And He will see that it is done in His time and in His way. We were not born accepting and believing that man has a free will. It was taught to us by someone. Unbeknownst to us our will is constantly being changed by outside forces. We don’t think or believe as we did ten years ago. The concept of a free will is absurd, a figment of our deceived imagination. God will right that wrong teaching in His own time.

To have life as God and Christ have life

To much of what mainstream Christianity, the Babylon of confusion, is believing and teaching their converts around the world as truth, is nothing more than custom, ritual and tradition, passed down from one generation to another. It is being carelessly palette fed to their congregations without ever bothering to see what the Word of God has to say about it. As long as one continues to accept as truth that he/she has a free will apart and separate from the will of God, that can go against the intent of God, that person is deluding themselves and unless or until they are able to overcome that falsehood, they will never be able to truly understand the Word, the way, and truth of God.

To suppose that one of us little insignificant worm like creatures in comparison to the creator of all that exists everywhere, can thwart or deter the purpose and plan of God before the world began, with our will free from His purpose and intent, is the height, breadth and width of the carnal nature that God has placed within each one of us. But fear not my friends, my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Our God and Savior Jesus Christ is well aware of what is happening and it is all going exactly as He planned it from the beginning. We are all where He wants us to be individually in every moment of time. He will bring us all to where we need to be to eventually belong to His Kingdom, as immortal, spirit beings, to have life as Himself and His Christ have life.

A true servant of God

If we are really interested in learning the truth of God as opposed to what the churches are preaching and teaching about. That which is mixed with some truth and a whole lot that has no truth in it at all, then I would suggest we read a little of what the late L. Ray Smith had spent a good portion of his life attempting to educate himself as well as others on, in seeking and searching out the true Word of God according to our own bibles. He makes things quite clear and backs it all up with scripture. Although the physical body of Ray is dead and gone, never to return again to this earth and his spirit that God had given him at birth has returned to God whom had given it to him, the same moment he ceased to live any longer in his physical body, his spirit returned to God, to be absorbed back into God from whence it came, awaiting the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection back to immortal, spirit life, to rule with Jesus Christ during the one thousand year reign here on earth. If God will cause this truth to strike a note within you and you would like to know more than what I have included below, you can just Google L. Ray Smith, and his website will come up. I promise you’ll probably learn more truth within a few hours, than you have learned in all of the prior time you have been looking for it in the churches of this world.

( Ray will be discussing the hell myth and other things below )

The Lake of Fire - Part XI

"But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine and which have not known the DEPTHS of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden" (Rev. 2:24).

"But as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him’--these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the DEPTHS of God" (I Cor. 2:10, Revised Standard Version).

Just what is, "the DEPTHS of Satan" and "the DEPTHS of God," and where do we find them? There are two main issues found in both the depths of Satan and the depths of God: What is the true nature and character of God? What is the purpose and destiny of the human race? The depths of Satan and the depths of God both answer these two questions.

The DEPTHS of Satan

—teaches that what God does mostly, is HATE! He is a God of eternal hatred and vengeance. He is pictured as the chief of hypocrites. He tells mankind to love their enemies, but shows His perverted love toward mankind by torturing most of our loved-ones in fire for all eternity. God’s weak wish of saving all humanity is thwarted by the sovereign power of man’s supposed free will, and thus most of the human race will eternally hate and despise and curse their Creator for ever making them. This teaching of Satan has absolutely no redeeming value to it. God will be remembered eternally for being the greatest failure in the history of the universe. This doctrine is both the most evil and the most stupid teaching ever conceived.

The DEPTHS of God—

teaches that what God does and is, is LOVE! He is a God fully capable of bringing the whole human race to repentance through judgments that cause man to learn righteousness. The purpose for man’s creation is to teach him obedience and love, so that he can be molded into the very Image of God Himself and thus be manifested as the Eternal Sons and Daughters of God in the Family of God. God’s plan brings unspeakable happiness to and pleasure to every creature in heaven and earth. God’s plan will be totally successful down to God’s very last wish and desire. Possessing the very character of God and His love for all His creatures is the most marvelous plan ever conceived by our all-wise and Loving God. Ironically, The Christian Church writes books about, teaches in her seminaries, and preaches from her pulpits, in a most vigorous manner, The DEPTHS of Satan. Contrariwise, she avoids teaching The DEPTHS of God, and accuses those who do, of being false prophets and of the devil. Seminary professors and theologians, religious writers and movie makers, clergymen and teachers, the world over, attribute to Satan powers and victories that he does not deserve or possess, and they likewise attribute to God weaknesses and failures that He does not deserve or possess! Their theology is turned backward, upside down, and inside out! Satan will not be victorious over the human race by bringing the majority of mankind down into a living eternal hellhole of torture, nor will God be a disgraceful failure in saving the world! It is time now for God to reveal some startling truths to those who have ears to hear.

Little wonder that the Church worldwide does not acknowledge the whereabouts of the depths of Satan. Yet, this is no secret for those who have eyes to see it. "The DEPTHS of Satan is found IN THE CHURCH itself. Satan does not attack the Church from without, but from within:

Where do we find them who "say they are apostles [of Jesus Christ] and are not?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:2).

Where do we find them who have "left their first love?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:4).

Where do we find them which "say they are [spiritual] Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:9 & 3:9).

Where do we find "Satan’s seat [throne]?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:13).

Where do we find "where Satan dwells?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:13).

Where do we find "the doctrine of Balaam?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:14).

Where do we find "them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I [Jesus] hate?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:15).

Where do we find "that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed unto idols?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 2:19).

Where do we find them that "have a name that you live, and are dead?" Why, IN THE CHURCH

Where do we find them that "are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked?" Why, IN THE CHURCH (Rev. 3:17).

And where do we find "the DEPTHS of Satan?" Why, IN THE CHURCH, of course Rev. 2:24).

Is it possible that the "depths of God" can co-exist alongside of the "depths of Satan" in the same church? Are not both taught in the Church? No, they are not. However, let me make myself perfectly clear on this matter. I am not suggesting that nothing but the depths of Satan is taught in the Christian Church. That is certainly not true. There are numerous truths of God that are taught in the Church, and there are doctrines and practices of demons that are not taught in the Church. But, therein lies the reason why there is much confusion and contradiction among the different denominations. Error mixed with some truth can be more deceptive than error alone.

There is no greater evil taught in the Church today than the doctrine of "eternal torment." This doctrine has no validity in the Scriptures. Even though this doctrine has its origin in paganism, most pagan and heathen nations have long forsaken this hideous teaching. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that can be conceived by the mind of man or demon, that is more deplorable, detestable, and disgusting than the thought of being physically, mentally, and spiritually tortured for all eternity. The thought is inconceivable. The thought of eternal torture is far beyond all known evil, immoral, corrupt, damnable, deprived, heinous, hideous, loathsome, nefarious, obscene, repugnant, reprobate, vile and wicked sins of all the universe combined. There just aren’t enough adjectives to describe this doctrine. It can be compared to nothing.

The very thought, the teaching, the doctrine, of eternal torment, is the greatest evil that can ever be conceived. Eternity has NO END! When totally reprobate men want to commit the ultimate evil, they torture. Torture is outlawed in international warfare. Even the vilest despotic leaders in the world agree in principle (if not always in practice) that torture should be a forbidden practice. All humans who torture others are considered the lowest form of humanity. Saddam’s two sons were inventors of new forms of human torture. Yet their joy of putting people through tree shredders was child’s play compared to the evils envisioned by the great theologians of Christendom. Theologians picture men, women, and children, being engulfed in real fire while being forced to drink molten hot lead! As for me, I would take the tree shredder any day! At least that quickly comes to an end. But the theologians’ vision of torture by fire in hell, never, ever, ever comes to an end.

So called Christian preachers call it fair

And they call it "FAIR"! And they call it "JUSTICE"! I heard them with my own ears. John Hagee said on international television that, hell is "JUSTICE"! And I heard James Kennedy say on international television, that hell is "FAIR"! NO, ETERNAL TORTURE IS NOT JUSTICE AND NO, IT IS NOT FAIR. It is insane rank demonism—it is The DEPTHS of Satan!! IT IS INORDINATELY EVIL: IT IS THE ULTIMATE SIN: IT IS THE BLASPHEMY OF ALL BLASPHEMIES! It is a doctrine that demeans and debases the very character of God Almighty below that of the vilest humans who have ever lived.

And I would also add that it is one thing to reluctantly accept this doctrine because one has been deceived into believing that it is in the Bible, but it is quite another to meditate on this theme and come to embrace it into one’s heart, mind, and soul, as something that is "JUSTICE AND FAIR!" David said that he preferred the judgment of God over that of men. But if eternal torment is a true doctrine, a person would be a fool to prefer the judgment of God over that of men! This doctrine says that God is evil and unjust beyond any sane comprehension. This doctrine says that the God, who saved the worst sinner that ever lived in a flash of light, cannot save most mediocre sinners in a trillion centuries. This doctrine says that God is a trillion trillion trillion times more evil than He is loving. This doctrine makes God out to be less caring and merciful and the worst of sinners.

Can you show love by torturing others?

This doctrine contradicts hundreds of Scriptures. This doctrine makes God out to be a hypocrite when He tells us to love our enemies, but does not follow His own teaching. Will the same God Who says to us, "Love your enemies" be the one that will ultimately torture OUR friends, neighbors, and loved ones? Is this the reward we get for loving our enemies—God will torture our loved ones? What kind of an incentive is that? What kind of double-talking, unscriptural nonsense is that? It would make more sense to hate our enemies and love our loved one, wouldn’t it? Do you hate your loved ones, when they die not knowing Jesus as their Saviour? Do you attend their funerals and curse their name, so as to be in harmony and keeping with the God that you believe is also cursing them in hell at that very moment?

You see, this doctrine is so evil that even carnal human nature rebels at there being any reality to this damnable heresy. No, here is the reality: God wants us to love our loved ones and love our enemies, because we are growing into His image, and God loves our loved ones and He also loves His and our enemies. You cannot show your love to your enemies by torturing them, and neither can God! Am I going to fast for anyone? Just this week, again, I heard John Hagee parrot his little phrase something to the effect: "You say you don’t believe in hell? Well it’s still there and YOU’RE GOING"! The camera then zoomed in on a lady who smiled and gave out a laugh! They think that making a big joke out of being tortured in fire for all eternity is funny? INHUMAN TORTURE IS FUNNY? His statement was intended to elicit laughter—hence the quick response by the cameraman to the reaction of the audience. Some of these heretics will be laughing out of the other side of their face one of these days, and it won’t be a pretty picture. ( end quote )

The Satan manufactured deception of mankind having a will separate and apart from the will and/or intent of God, a “free will” if you please, along with the Christian hell myth being preached by his ( Satan’s ) ministers masquerading as angels of light, and believed and taught around this earth as the truth of God by the counterfeit Christian church. Is a lie of monumental proportions that only God will be able to correct within the time table He set in motion before the world began. But it will happen according to the good pleasure of God, whom works all things out after the counsel of His Own will.   In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:. ( Ephesians 1:11 )

What will it take for Christians to believe God?

Getting all bug eyed and pounding on the podium with frothing mouth and with carotid arteries the size of a water hose, ranting and raving as they preach and teach about the lie of hell fire for all eternity in an attempt to scare folks into the church, “The Babylon of Confusion” or “the counterfeit Christian church” teaching, is something many a minister will have to account to God for, as they individually stand before Him on that future day and listen to His voice announce to them. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ ( Matthew 7: 21-23 )

They may very well have done many wonderful works as stated. But they refused to believe that He was whom He claimed to be. Do not believe me because of what I am saying here, but because of what His Word has to say. Here below is what God is telling His people, the Catholic church called THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS, in Revelation 15:5 and the harlots being all of her protestant prostitute daughters that came out from her. In other words, all of the churches of the world claiming to be followers of Christ. Here in Revelation 18: 4 God instructs them all in what they should be doing. Come out of her my people. None of them actually believe or teach others to believe that Jesus Christ is whom He claims to be, the Savior of all mankind and in truth and in fact all of creation. The Babylon of confusion simply will not believe the Word and truth of God.

What does the Word of God have to say about it?

( John 3:18 and on ) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned ( judged ) already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

( 1 John 5: 10 ) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness within himself: He that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

( John 8: 45 ) And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

( John 16: 9 ) ( NLT ) The worlds sin is unbelief in me.

( Hebrews 4:2) We have heard the same Good News that your ancestors heard. But the message didn't help those who heard it in the past because they didn't believe.

(John 7:2-5) “But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus’ brothers said to him, ‘You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.’ For even his own brothers didn‘t believe Him.

John 5:24 ESV Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

(John 5:38) And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

(John 8:23-24) "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.

The Babylon of confusion, known as well as the counterfeit Christian church, which includes the Catholic church and all of her prostitute protestant sister churches around the world refusing to believe that Christ is whom He claims to be according to His Word, the Savior of all mankind and in truth and in fact all of creation. They will indeed as Christ has spoken it, die in their sins. It’s not complicated rocket science my friends, my brothers and sisters, it is easy to understand truth coming straight from the mouth of our older brother Jesus Christ. Dying in their sins in no way prevents them all from being brought to repentance in due time by the purpose and plan of God before the world began. Unless they are brought to repentance before their physical death, and turn from their disbelief of Christ being whom He claims to be, they will not be in the first resurrection indicated as the preferred one.

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. ( Revelation 20: 4 - 6 ) Without question, all will be saved in the finale of things to come, but those refusing to believe that Christ is whom He claims to be, will miss out on the first resurrection to rule with Christ for a thousand years, and will come up before God in the great white throne judgment, a thousand years later.

It won’t do any good to hate the messenger

It is only natural for carnal mankind to dislike, be aggravated at, and hate the messenger that I or others have become, for revealing that which makes others to chaff in disbelief, deep down inside. But I am only the messenger that has recognized it as my solemn duty to reveal the message of God. I have no argument with you or anyone else, I claim you all as my brothers and sisters in Christ, whom will eventually be brought up to the immortal, spirit level of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. According to the perfect purpose and plan of God before the world began. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; ( Titus 1:2 ) "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.… ( Isaiah 46: 9 - 11 )

Our immortal and spirit well being requires that we come to accept and to believe that Jesus Christ is whom He claims to be. That will happen in the due time of God, as He works all things out after the counsel of His Own will. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: ( Ephesians 1: 11 ) The error of the supposed free will of man that does not exist. Will have no effect upon the whole and total purpose and plan of God to bring all things to fruition as He planned and put it into motion before time began.

Wanting to be right, without doing right

It is not me the messenger that you most dislike and hate to hear the message I am giving you here, it is the message that God is giving His people that you chaff against. People the world over want to be right, as opposed to doing right. We get some kind of twisted joy and contentment in accepting and believing that most all of evil mankind will either be annihilated and done away with forever, or will suffer day and night forever in the deceptive Christian teaching of the raging flames of hell. Brought about by the ministers of Satan masquerading as angels of light. I would like for you to look at what I have searched out thru the internet from the website of, Universal Salvation. org.

It has to do with such words as, “prove all things” Which also means to approve of all things. If we in fact approve of either annihilation for most all of mankind that includes our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors, or even worse, their all having to suffer day and night without one second of relief, for trillions upon trillions of years in the raging flames of hell taught and believed by the Babylon of confusion, known also as the counterfeit Christian church under the sway of the Devil and Satan. Then we in effect are no different than all of those that believe and teach that lie to others. Is it now time to follow the admonition of our God, recorded in, ( Revelation 18: 4 ) ? And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Do you realize, that what you believe tells God what sort of person you are? Have you ever stopped to consider exactly what you do believe? Have you ever stopped and considered why you believe what you believe? Paul said at 1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Prove all things" (King James Version). The Greek word for "prove" there is dokimazete (dokimazete) from dokimazw (dokimazo) and it means to prove, to test. But what you have not been told is that it also means to approve, to approve after trial, to judge worthy. God does not want you just to prove all things, He also wants you to approve of all things as well. And that is different, because now the responsibility is upon you not just to prove what you believe, but also to approve of what you believe.

For instance, if you are in a church that teaches Hell fire and eternal suffering, (watch this very carefully) in your heart, you have to approve of that. If you belong to a church that teaches eternal death for some, (again, watch this very carefully) in your heart, you have to approve of that. What sort of a heart could approve of Hell fire and eternal suffering? What sort of a heart could approve of eternal death for some? The doctrine of Universal Salvation teaches that all will have eternal life, including Satan and the demons. And that one day, all will have the same nature as God. What sort of a heart could not approve of Universal Salvation, eternal life for all? You see, God is the Ultimate and Universal Salvation is the Ultimate. Whatever you do, do not expect anything less than the Ultimate from God. ( end quote ) I highly recommend you visit this website for a greater understanding. Universal Salvation. Org. God is doing for us, what we cannot do for ourselves

We can never be good enough to save ourselves, nor bad enough that God cannot or will not save us all. The sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ in death, then to be resurrected back to immortal, spirit life as He was before being born a human baby to His mother, the virgin Mary. Has caused God to remove our sins as far away as the east is from the west. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. ( Psalm 103:12 ) ( NLT ) We have had nothing at all to do with it. It has all been done for us by Jesus Christ. We need to forget the foolishness being taught us, that mankind has been given a free will that in any way can deter or thwart the will and purpose of God. The Babylon of confusion claims that humanity chooses for themselves to either follow God and go to heaven, or to reject Him and go to hell. Both are bald faced lies and when God decides to call us individually by revealing His truth to us. All of mankind will willingly follow as can be seen here in both ( Hebrews 8: 10 - 12 ) and again in ( Jeremiah 31: 33 - 35 ).

But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the LORD, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the LORD, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is His name:… ( Jeremiah 31: 33 - 35 )

While some error can be found in all bible translations. The Greek and Hebrew languages of the original old and new testament is considered to be true and accurate. It can take some time and work digging the truth out. I thank God for those dedicated individuals that do that without charge or obligation to anyone. You can find many of their websites on our website.

( Under: Helpful Websites. I hope for your own well being and understanding of the truth of God, you’ll visit our website.)

While you are contemplating the words of God that I have given you here. Take a little time and ponder exactly what it means to be made in the image and likeness of God. ( Genesis 1:26 ) Like everything that God is telling us, it means what it says. We are to become just like our God and His Son Jesus Christ now are, in every single way, so how are They? They are immortal, spirit beings that will never die, and we all are to become just like Them. God is reproducing Himself, first in bringing His Son Jesus Christ out from Himself.

He ( Christ ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him.… ( Colossians 1: 15 - 16 )

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he ( Christ ) might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

I hope you were able to catch the meaning specifically of Romans 8:29. That is the destiny of every person that has ever been born on this earth. To be conformed to the image of Christ, whom is God Himself. Or will we continue in our disbelief of whom He claims to be? My brothers and sisters in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our destiny is far beyond anything we have ever known in comparison to what our awesome future holds for all of us. All of mankind and in fact all of creation. We will be as Christ is, we will be omnipotent, having unlimited power at our finger tips. We will be omniscient, having all wisdom, understanding and knowledge in knowing how to use it. We will be omnipresent, we will be every where within the vastness of space, through out the universe at every moment in time. That my dear friends puts traveling at the speed of light at 186000 miles per second seem like walking on crutches in comparison. Then finally we will all be as Christ is, we will be immutable, we will never change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ( Hebrews 13:8  )  "I am the LORD, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed. ( Malachi 3:6 ) ( NLT ) We all need to accept as truth and believe these things that God is revealing to us.

Leith Cunningham

P.S. I have written other papers about the free will of man that does not exist before. I view it as being extremely important and necessary for any individual that is wanting to grasp the actual truth of God, to understand the truth from fiction and deception on this matter. I hope something I have related here will help others to see it as well. An absolute key to understanding anything, is to know where to look for the answer. The Word of God is the authority and the place we need to be looking for any and all of our spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Do not allow your church, your religion, or your minister to lead you away from truth that allows them to become the dominant feature in your life instead of God. Put God first in your life where He belongs and is supposed to be. Here is what Christ would have us all to know. "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.… ( John 16: 12 - 14 )
