“Who or what is “Spiritual Israel”?

Written by: Leith Lyman Cunningham 3/1/2017

A. The following three paragraphs deal briefly with the transfer from literal Israel to “Spiritual Israel” as recorded in the Holy Scriptures.  The information was obtained from the “Seventh-day Adventist Encyclopedia – Commentary Reference Series.”

“All of God’s dealings with the Israelites in Old Testament times were based on the covenant that had originally been ratified between God and Abraham (Gen. 12:1-3; 15:18; 17:2-7).  At Mount Sinai, more than four centuries later, Israel took an oath of allegiance to God, accepting Him as their sovereign and becoming in a special sense subjects of His authority (Ex. 19:5-8; 24:3-8, Deut. 7:6-14).  This covenant continued in force until the leaders of the nation formally rejected Jesus as the Messiah and declared before Pilate their allegiance to ‘no king but Caesar’ (Matt. 21:43-45; 23:36-38).”

“With the irrevocable rejection of Israel as the covenant people at the cross, the rights, privileges, promises, and blessings of the covenant relationship passed to the Christian church as God’s chosen representative on earth. This revelation is most significant, not to overlook or allow it to pass out of our mind as we seek the truth of God. “We now, the followers of Jesus Christ, are the covenant people”. (Matt. 28:19-20), 2 Cor. 5:18-20; Acts 10:34-35; Gal. 3:9, 27-29; 1 Peter 2:9-10, Rom. 9:24-26, 30-31; 10:12-13).  Like everyone else, individual Jews could still find salvation, but they must do so as believers in Christ and not as descendants of Abraham (Rom. 9:6; 11:1-2, 11, 15, 22-26).”

“After the transfer of the covenant relationship to the church, many Old Testament promises not already fulfilled to literal Israel, would never be fulfilled because they were strictly conditional upon Israel’s retaining its status as the covenant people.  Others would be fulfilled to the Christian church, as spiritual Israel, in principle-but not necessarily in detail, because of the fact that many details of the prophecies were made with respect to Israel as a literal nation situated in the land of Palestine, whereas the Christian church, the one that Christ is building, that the gates of hell shall not prevail against, is a spiritual ‘nation’ scattered all over the world.  Not a church of brick and mortar, but those faithful and dedicated followers that believe that Jesus Christ is whom He claims to be, “The Savior of all creation”. The texts below show how literal Israel rejected Jesus as the Messiah and how the Gentiles then became “Spiritual Israel”.

Matthew 23:37-39  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.  For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Isaiah 5:3-7   And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.  What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?  And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:  And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.   For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

Galatians 3:6-29   Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.   Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.   And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed.  So, then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.   But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith.  And the law is not of faith: but, the man that doeth them shall live in them.   Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.  Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.   For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Romans 2:25-29 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.  Therefore, if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?  And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfils the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?   For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Hebrews 8:10   For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

-Dr. Joe Temple, has this to say below-

As we come to Deuteronomy chapter 28, I would like to emphasize that we have come to one of the most important chapters in the entire book and, in one sense of the word, one of the most important chapters in the entire Bible. Bible scholars have been free to express themselves about this particular chapter and its effectiveness in understanding the Word of God. One Bible scholar has said, for example, “The whole chapter, the solemn blessings and the curses refer to Israel as a nation in the light of God's purpose.” That is just another way of saying that in this one chapter is delineated for us the entire purpose of God for the nation of Israel.

Another Bible scholar has said that the first fourteen verses refer to what Israel might have been in the past through obedience and what she will be during the millennial reign of Christ by virtue of grace. I am quoting this statement because it speaks volumes in few words, so let me repeat it: “These verses indicate what Israel could have been through obedience.” But we know she failed, and we will see more definitely that she did. But they also reveal, and this is the note of hope, the rainbow of glory that is put across the whole chapter, what she will be by grace in the millennial reign of Christ.

Another Bible scholar has said that verses 15-68 of this chapter represent an outline of the history of Israel from the days of their early apostasy while they were yet in the land of promise up to the present time and on to the last seven years of Jacob's Trouble which is yet to come. You will keep in mind that Jacob's Trouble is a phrase which describes the Great Tribulation which is to follow immediately upon this present age of grace in which we live. So, if you are listening, you will recognize that in this chapter, particularly the portion beginning with verse 15, we have a prophetic outline of the history of the nation of Israel from the early days of apostasy while she was yet in the land of Canaan up to the present time in which we live and on to a time yet future, known as Jacob's Trouble.

One of the most interesting statements that has ever been made about this chapter has been made in recent days, and I have portrayed it before you so that you will be able to let the impact of it reach you. This is a quotation from an open letter to a scholar in Israel, who recently replied to a question concerning what passage of Scripture made him feel that the Word of God was breaking into human speech? He replied, “The portion of the Word written in the Oriental language, this chapter of curses in Deuteronomy, where the destiny of Israel which is without analogy is foretold down to the present day.”

If I say to you that in this chapter, there is the destiny of Israel foretold down to the present hour, you might discount what I say and say, “Well, you are hipped on the subject of prophecy, so it is normal for you to see some prophetic implication in any and every portion of the Word of God.” But we would like to remind you that Max Broad is a contemporary historian, doing research on the subject of Israel, writing to a contemporary Israelite, saying to him, “What passage in the Scripture makes you feel that the Word of God is breaking into human speech?” That is, what passage of Scripture causes you to feel that the Word of God is relevant to the day in which we live? His answer is chapter 28 of the book of Deuteronomy.(end quote)

I am going to pick out and isolate one verse of scripture in particular, that should jerk us all up short and jar us awake, for at least a moment or two. We all have probably at least, glanced through such magazines as “The National Enquirer”. To witness sensationalism at its peak, in one story right after another of the things both real and imagined, mostly taken with a grain of salt. The unimaginable half-truths, no truth at all, along with blatant and outright lies given out to be accepted as the actual truth. That’s one thing, we have learned to take it more as entertainment or just someone expounding on a load of hocus pocus horse manure. But the Word of God, that being Jesus Christ, is of a complete different nature, it is all true in the original Hebrew and Greek  language it came to us in. Mistakes can be made in translations, but God tells us that, “His Word is truth”. We can make God out to be a liar, in not believing the testimony He gives us about His Son Jesus Christ. It is in our best interests then to believe the Word of God, as we take a good look at Deuteronomy 28:56 below. It either has happened or will happen, or both.

Women eating their own after birth-

Deuteronomy 28:56-58. "The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and refinement, shall be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter, and toward her afterbirth which issues from between her legs and toward her children whom she bears; for she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the distress by which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.  If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the LORD your God,…  New American Standard Bible.

-I trust I have gotten your attention-

Since I will show you in the following here, how the followers of Jesus Christ, those that accept His truth, those that believe He is whom He claims to be, those that do not make His Father God out to be a liar through unbelief of the fact that He, Jesus Christ is the Savior of all creation. Those not following after the pagan customs, rituals, and traditions of men, having substituted them for the commandments of God. Those being identified as Christians, having taken the place of literal Israel; after they rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah. We now at this time have become the “Covenant People”. Or known too as spiritual Israel, God tells us plainly here what we can expect our blessings to be, if we live our lives in obedience to Him. Or, the curses to expect for disobedience and abandoning God.

At our baptism into Christianity, we agreed that we would be the people of God and that God would be our God. We would be obedient to Him, and worship God above all else in our lives. We in effect made the same agreement with God that His chosen physical people Israel had made to Him during their lives prior to the time of their rejecting that agreement, turning their collective backs upon God and therefore losing their special status as “The Covenant people”.

In our agreement now as being His covenant people, known as well as spiritual Israel, we have placed ourselves in the exact position that physical Israel had done many years earlier. As we go through these blessings and cursing’s to follow, keep in mind these words in Deuteronomy 28 that is now also talking to us. We are under the promise of blessing for obedience, or curses for disobedience and abandoning God, should that ever happen. Fast forward now a few centuries and what do we find on the face of the earth scene, today?

If Jesus Christ returned to earth today, He would find out, how far off course His Church had wandered. In fact, He doesn’t have to return, He already knows exactly what is going on here on earth among His people. They most one and all have abandoned God and belong now to the Babylon of confusion. Substituting and teaching for doctrines, the commandments of men. Leaving the door open wide to hear these words at the return of Jesus Christ. Depart from me, I know you not. The people of God hearing those words will be shocked to learn, because of disobedience and abandoning God; they fell short of becoming the elect of God to rule and reign with and under Jesus Christ, King David, and the elect that He had picked out from the many being called.

Keep in mind as you go through these blessings and curses that Israel is an earthly people and the blessings of which God spoke are related primarily to the earth. Remember that the Church of which you are a part if you have received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior is a heavenly (spiritual) people, and God has guaranteed blessings primarily of a heavenly (spiritual) nature to the Church. This does not mean there are no earthly blessings. It is still true that God has said in His Word, “No good thing will I withhold from them who walk uprightly,” but primarily the blessings are spiritual and not material.

The blessings of God for obedience

1“If you fully obey the lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the lord your God: Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed. 7“The lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven! 8“The lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

“If you obey the commands of the lord your God and walk in his ways, the lord will establish you as his holy people as he swore he would do. 10 Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the lord, and they will stand in awe of you.11“The lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops. 12 The lord will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them. 13 If you listen to these commands of the lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom. 14 You must not turn away from any of the commands I am giving you today, nor follow after other gods and worship them.

Curses for Disobedience and abandoning God

15 “But if you refuse to listen to the lord your God and do not obey all the commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you: 16 Your towns and your fields will be cursed. 17 Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be cursed.18 Your children and your crops will be cursed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be cursed. 19 Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be cursed. 20 “The lord himself will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed for doing evil and abandoning me. 21 The lord will afflict you with diseases until none of you are left in the land you are about to enter and occupy. 22 The lord will strike you with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die.

23 The skies above will be as unyielding as bronze, and the earth beneath will be as hard as iron. 24 The lord will change the rain that falls on your land into powder, and dust will pour down from the sky until you are destroyed. 25 “The lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies. You will attack your enemies from one direction, but you will scatter from them in seven! You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 Your corpses will be food for all the scavenging birds and wild animals, and no one will be there to chase them away. 27“The lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, scurvy, and the itch, from which you cannot be cured.

28 The lord will strike you with madness, blindness, and panic. 29 You will grope around in broad daylight like a blind person groping in the darkness, but you will not find your way. You will be oppressed and robbed continually, and no one will come to save you. 30 “You will be engaged to a woman, but another man will sleep with her. You will build a house, but someone else will live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but you will never enjoy its fruit. 31 Your ox will be butchered before your eyes, but you will not eat a single bite of the meat. Your donkey will be taken from you, never to be returned. Your sheep and goats will be given to your enemies, and no one will be there to help you. 32 You will watch as your sons and daughters are taken away as slaves. Your heart will break for them, but you won’t be able to help them.

33 A foreign nation you have never heard about will eat the crops you worked so hard to grow. You will suffer under constant oppression and harsh treatment. 34 You will go mad because of all the tragedy you see around you. 35 The lord will cover your knees and legs with incurable boils. In fact, you will be covered from head to foot. 36 “The lord will exile you and your king to a nation unknown to you and your ancestors. There in exile you will worship gods of wood and stone! 37 You will become an object of horror, ridicule, and mockery among all the nations to which the lord sends you. 38 “You will plant much but harvest little, for locusts will eat your crops. 39 You will plant vineyards and care for them, but you will not drink the wine or eat the grapes, for worms will destroy the vines.

40 You will grow olive trees throughout your land, but you will never use the olive oil, for the fruit will drop before it ripens. 41 You will have sons and daughters, but you will lose them, for they will be led away into captivity. 42 Swarms of insects will destroy your trees and crops. 43 “The foreigners living among you will become stronger and stronger, while you become weaker and weaker. 44 They will lend money to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, and you will be the tail! 45 “If you refuse to listen to the lord your God and to obey the commands and decrees he has given you, all these curses will pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed. 46 These horrors will serve as a sign and warning among you and your descendants forever47 If you do not serve the lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received,

48 you will serve your enemies whom the lord will send against you. You will be left hungry, thirsty, naked, and lacking in everything. The lord will put an iron yoke on your neck, oppressing you harshly until he has destroyed you. 49 “The lord will bring a distant nation against you from the end of the earth, and it will swoop down on you like a vulture. It is a nation whose language you do not understand, 50 a fierce and heartless nation that shows no respect for the old and no pity for the young. 51 Its armies will devour your livestock and crops, and you will be destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine, olive oil, calves, or lambs, and you will starve to death.

52 They will attack your cities until all the fortified walls in your land—the walls you trusted to protect you—are knocked down. They will attack all the towns in the land the lord your God has given you. 53 “The siege and terrible distress of the enemy’s attack will be so severe that you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters, whom the lord your God has given you. 54 The most tenderhearted man among you will have no compassion for his own brother, his beloved wife, and his surviving children. 55 He will refuse to share with them the flesh he is devouring—the flesh of one of his own children—because he has nothing else to eat during the siege and terrible distress that your enemy will inflict on all your towns.

56 The most tender and delicate woman among you—so delicate she would not so much as touch the ground with her foot—will be selfish toward the husband she loves and toward her own son or daughter. 57 She will hide from them the afterbirth and the new baby she has borne, so that she herself can secretly eat them. She will have nothing else to eat during the siege and terrible distress that your enemy will inflict on all your towns.58 “If you refuse to obey all the words of instruction that are written in this book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome name of the lord your God, 59 then the lord will overwhelm you and your children with indescribable plagues. These plagues will be intense and without relief, making you miserable and unbearably sick.

60 He will afflict you with all the diseases of Egypt that you feared so much, and you will have no relief. 61 The lord will afflict you with every sickness and plague there is, even those not mentioned in this Book of Instruction, until you are destroyed. 62 Though you become as numerous as the stars in the sky, few of you will be left because you would not listen to the lord your God. 63 “Just as the lord has found great pleasure in causing you to prosper and multiply, the lord will find pleasure in destroying you. You will be torn from the land you are about to enter and occupy.

64 For the lord will scatter you among all the nations from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship foreign gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods made of wood and stone! 65 There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair. 66 Your life will constantly hang in the balance. You will live night and day in fear, unsure if you will survive. 67 In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were night!’ And in the evening, you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ For you will be terrified by the awful horrors you see around you. 68 Then the lord will send you back to Egypt in ships, to a destination I promised you would never see again. There you will offer to sell yourselves to your enemies as slaves, but no one will buy you.”

Israel rejected God, that they be ruled by physical nations and physical kings, that never tired themselves of misusing and taking advantage of them. Working them night and day as long as they could stand on their feet and produce. Then beaten to death and kicked to the side of the road. This my friends, is the exact reason that the physical nation of Israel has wandered the earth being in a perpetual state of homelessness, shame, disgrace and being persecuted at every turn until they become of no value to anyone. They became such a large number of displaced people, good only for slavery, scorn and hatred, to the point I have read about cases where they were being bought by task-masters at a penny for thirty adult males and females.

All through history; Israel since rejecting and abandoning God, have suffered greatly by those who have allowed them to come into their own countries, in their attempt at survival. Look for example what is happening right here in the United States of America, where things like this are not supposed to happen. They continue to be misused, taken advantage of, beaten down and are still being under the curse of God for rejecting and abandoning Him. It is happening all over our country, of a supposed Christian nation. From sea to shining sea, from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

In my life time Hitler, of Nazi Germany, tried his best to completely do away with all Jews. He called it,"The final solution", he, by every conceivable way imaginable, attempted to remove them all, root and branch, from off the face of the earth. By raping the women and enslaving the children big enough to work. Being in some cases buried alive, bull dozed into mass graves. Working them to death, starving them to death, beating them to death, lining them up in front of machine guns to be mowed down like dead weeds. Taking the helpless and in-firmed, the babies and children, to gas ovens to be gassed or burned to death or both. The life of a Jew became worth less than nothing. Having still, to suffer the consequences of rejecting God as they had formerly agreed upon. It is not a little thing to turn ones back on God and to abandon Him. We live in a different world today, mankind has lost their way. A good reason to pray, Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

I would like to emphasize that this is not the principle upon which God deals with us today. God deals with us today on the principle of grace. Oh yes, there is obedience, but it is obedience accomplished by the discipline of grace. As the Apostle Paul said in his letter to Titus, “The grace of God that brings salvation to all men hath appeared, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present evil world.” The individual who says that obedience is legalistic is forgetting the principle of the discipline of grace. What you cannot do because the law is weak through the flesh, you can do because the Holy Spirit resides in your heart and will control your life if you will permit Him to do so.

I am in no way under the sun pronouncing the final and complete total death sentence upon anyone. Our salvation is for sure and for certain. Christ has already done for us what none of us could do for ourselves. He died in our stead, our debt for sin has been paid in full, for all of mankind, and none shall perish, all will during the time frame and schedule of God, be reconciled back to God, where God then becomes all in all. Colossians 1: 19-20 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, (Christ) and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

1 Corinthians 15:22-28 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (The exact same all that die will all be made alive) 23 But each in their own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. (the elect) 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.  (after death, has been destroyed, the only thing left is life) 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

We also should recognize that God does not change, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If that be so, and it is, we know then how God feels about us, His adopted “New Covenant People” or spiritual Israel that have taken the place of His special physical nation Israel. I wonder if Deuteronomy 28 may have a plural or dual meaning. If we are also found to be turning our backs on God, as most all of the Babylon of confusion have already done, as they have obviously turned away now and instead of doing away with paganism within their churches and congregations,

Among many other detestable things; they (the Babylon of confusion) have joined up with paganism and are annually taking part with great gusto and going full speed ahead in appropriating the name of our awesome and mighty majesty Savior, Jesus Christ, and have placed it on such a rotten to the nasty core pagan festival called Saturnalia, now calling it Christ-mass or Christmas (we can guess where that come from) where the pagans burned their innocent little babies and children in fire to their god. None of the people of God involved in taking part in these renamed pagan festivals by adding the name of Christ on it, so as to appear up-right and righteous, will be selected to be among the elect while doing so. This is the commandment of God in Revelation 18:4 going out to them (I say them, because I came out from them many years ago) now, as we speak. Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her. Punished yes, but not sent to the Christian hell myth, to burn day and night forever. Punished to the point of repentance only, punishment to fit the sin, punishment that has an ending, until all of mankind will have been reconciled back to God.

God, as I understand it, will send His elect to a place of safety during the great tribulation, and it will not be in heaven as the Babylon of confusion believes and teaches others to accept and to believe as the truth of God, something they call the rapture, a word that you can search the bible till the cows come home and never once will find it anywhere in the Word of God. But as most of their teachings do reflect too, it is not at all the truth, but another falsehood that will cause these words to be written in the Word, "In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrine, the commandments of men". Will those Christians that are in denial of the wonderful truth of God as their counter parts, the Israelite's who turned their backs on God, that have substituted the truth with fiction, have to go through the great tribulation that will mirror that which existed in Deuteronomy 28? Only time will tell, but I sure would not like to take any chance on it. I am personally coming to believe that Deuteronomy 28 may be describing the conditions that will exist at the time of the return of Christ and beyond. Others may have already come to that same conclusion.

I hope you will take what I have written here as the labor of love I have intended it to be. I have intended to point us all to the Word and way of God. I am directing it as much and maybe even more at myself, as to others. I know we all find ourselves at different levels of understanding, I know that God hasn’t given all of His truth to any mortal, human being at this time. We could not bear to receive it all at once yet, we would all probably burn-up like a charred farmers match. I very much value and appreciate the fact that God will not give us more at any one time than we as an individual can deal with. The good news of the coming kingdom of God, to be set up here on earth and administered by Jesus Christ, King David and the elect to rule and reign with them for a thousand-year period of time, is the most news worthy, and tremendously positive thing that has ever happened or will ever happen within the universe in which we live.

There will be no more fear, no more wars, famine, disease, rape, plunder, lying, stealing, cheating, fornication or adultery, child molestation, wife beatings, or the abuse of women, that now exists around the world, and especially so, in the eastern and Arab nations, where it has been legal to kill, maim, torture and to forcefully remove the clitoris of women, to maintain control over them. Everyone will know God, from the least to the greatest. Men, shall beat their swords into plowshares and will never again lift up sword against each other. Jesus Christ will have restored and reconciled all things in heaven and earth back to God, and God will then become all in all. May God hasten the day when Jesus Christ returns to earth as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, to rule and reign here on earth, we ask this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, in, Matthew 6:8 – 10.

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.…Amen!

Below in Deuteronomy 28:15 is what happened to physical Israel for disobedience. As the people of God, we Christians have become the covenant people or spiritual Israel, that God transferred the birthright to now in the present day of being spiritual Israel or new covenant people, it behooves us to keep our commitment to God, that we not have to suffer as well for disobedience or the abandoning of God. Christ speaks to the problem. Mark 7:7 Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.'

Deuteronomy 28:15. But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not harken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all of his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all thee curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.We are all the less than perfect children of God, but our salvation is sure and for certain, in Christ we have become as pure and white as the snow from the heavens.
