( John16:9 NLT )

Why is it that those assembled weekly in churches around the world cannot or will not heed and follow or even believe the actual Word of God? Is there a way to shed some light on this matter? The Word of God is out there sitting on the night stand, in the bedroom, on the living room table, by the end tables of the sofa, in the bathroom and in many Christian homes, a copy is at their finger tips wherever they find themselves in almost every moment of time through out the day. They have it in their automobiles, and even carry it with them in cases, their purses and some even have a copy of the new testament in their shirt or coat pocket. So it is not lacking in having access to the Word of God that is causing the problem. So we have to look somewhere else to see what is going on within the churches and their congregations around the world. Let me suggest some things to consider that I have observed through the years of church attendance.

Having become receptive only to that which comes through and by the teachings of their own personal church, their own minister, their own congregation, that which has become comfortable and cozy as they meet for an hour or two usually on the weekend. Messages leaning heavily on legalism, custom, ritual and tradition. Judging, condemning, and criticizing any that teach a different message or meet on a different day, feeling more righteous then all others of different persuasions. Paying their homage and dutiful worship to God through prayer and a song service, followed by a message not to unlike the one the week before. A message of an abundance of scripture being quoted, usually sprinkled with inspirational and humorous comments and a dialog to keep the flock awake and hopefully listening. When it has all been boiled down it can be found consisting of what can be described as more of the same legalism, custom, ritual and tradition that has been taught in churches around the world for two thousand years known as the Babylon of confusion.
And when examined closely it is not all that much different from the religious establishment of the Pharisees during the time that Jesus Christ was here on earth as a physical human being. Laying all sorts of burdens on the backs of the people of God, while judging and condemning everyone that was not of themselves. What did Christ have to say to and about them? What will He yet in the future have to say about the false teachers and teachings of our day?
Jesus Christ has much to say yet today to those who would preach and teach contrary to His Word left recorded in our bibles. Those assuming they are preaching and teaching the Word of God, but have been sidetracked and run off into a ditch by following after the doctrines of demons, while denying the Word of God. Here is what Christ has to say about those not believing what He tells us all is the truth.

( Luke 10: 16 )

( NLT ) Anyone who accept your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God who sent me.

( Hosea 4:6 )
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

( 1 John 5: 10 )

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness within himself: He that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

( John 8: 45 )

And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

( John 16: 9 )

( NLT ) The worlds sin is unbelief in me.

( Hebrews 4:2 )
We have heard the same Good News that your ancestors heard. But the message didn't help those who heard it in the past because they didn't believe.

I asked in the beginning of this letter, why is it that churches around this world cannot or will not believe the Word of God? I have an answer for you, and if you would think deeply and seriously meditate upon it, you could no doubt come to the same conclusion. We learn to feel comfortable and at home in OUR church. We look at OUR church as having the truth, others do not quite measure up to. Our preachers and teachers promote and encourage this mentality. OUR church becomes part of our empirical self. To believe other than what OUR church teaches, causes us to feel dirty, unfaithful and disloyal. I recall a time when entering a bookstore and seeing a book with our pastor generals name on it. Out of curiosity I picked it up and looked inside, the moment I realized it was picturing him in a negative way, I couldn’t put it back on the shelf fast enough. I did not want to learn anything negative against him.

I never even considered whether or not it may have been true. Another couple of decades or so later this person ( the pastor general ) was exposed among other things of having an incestuous relationship with his own young teenage daughter, on into adulthood, including full penetration sexual intercourse for a period of ten years. Exposed as a false prophet intent on fleecing the flock. Demanding a first, second and third tithe from the membership, along with an order to pay for a building fund, extracting what he had termed an excess second tithe from them, along with a periodic special offering as he determined the need for more money. Squeezing the last drop of blood out from even the old widows. Yet those from the many splinter groups of the old church, set spell bound yet every week with gaping mouths and wide eyes, waiting for the “good News” which never really comes, while sucking up their share of fiction mixed with some truth from the table of demons. Teaching a false gospel that is no gospel at all. Gospel means “Good News” In all truth and honesty what they believe and teach others to believe in Christianity around this world, should be labeled “The Bad News” How else would you label a teaching that condemns most everyone’s mother, father, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends and acquaintances to annihilation or trillions and trillions of years of night and day, never ending suffering of unimaginable pain that never ceases? Even worse than bad news, it is the worst possible news. Yet like a frog in a pan of warm water on the stove, they sit each week waiting to hear good news, while the temperature of the water get hotter and hotter. It never crosses their minds to jump out before they become boiled to death in the Babylon of confusion.

In hindsight could I have avoided many years of false teachings and horrible family pain, anguish and sorrow that almost broke up our marriage, If I had, had the courage to have read that book and learned some of the ungodly preaching and teachings coming from the mouth of this false prophet? Maybe so, I don’t know, but I do understand how that can and will happen. Jim and I had just begun our website, I notified one of our ministers from that old church, that we were up and running. I encouraged him to check us out, as he had known us both. He wrote back and declined, saying in so many words that he didn’t look at what others were teaching according to the Word of God. He like myself did not want anything contrary to what he already believed and was happy and content in, to be shaken or disturbed in any way. He wasn’t at all interested in the possibility of gaining a different or true understanding of the Word of God. Never mind the fact that he had the full opportunity to accept or reject as the spirit of truth would lead him to. So, yes I do understand how this works, but in all to many cases this is another aspect that keeps Christians in spiritual bondage. This makes me wonder how many ministers around this world are prostituting themselves for a paycheck? Preaching and teaching that which they no longer believe themselves.

There is a host of differing reasons why Christianity has been and is being led away from the truth of God. I have listed many down on this site. Satan has blinded the minds of those who believe not. And God has sent strong delusion to those not having received the love of the truth, that they should believe a lie. God is not about to choose as His elect, they that refuse to believe His Word, which is His Son whom lives in us. In due time which He will determine, He will drag all of mankind to Himself. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. ( John 12:32 ) Notice how many will be drawn to Him. Many will be shocked to learn that we can worship God in vain. Thinking we are following God but in reality have been feeding at the table of demons. On that future day when Christ tells many. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. ( Matthew15:9 and Mark 7:7 ) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out demons? and in your name done many wonderful works? ( Matthew 7:22 ) Which all of this may be so, but how does Christ answer? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. ( Matthew7:23 and Luke 13:27 ) They may really have done many good things, many good works, but continue to deny His Word. Making God to be a liar through unbelief.

Churches around the world steeped in legalism, custom, ritual and tradition, following after the ways of man, are in for a rude awakening. Am I judging and condemning? I don’t think so, I am reminding others of the words of Jesus Christ. And I am in complete agreement and acceptance of the truth of the reconciliation of all things in heaven and earth. ( Universal Salvation ) Because that is exactly what the Word of God tells us. That in the course of events that God laid out before the world began, all will be called, all will come at the will and desire of God. All will be saved and belong as immortal, spirit beings in eternity. To have life as God and Christ have life. Each however in their own order, the first fruits at the return of Christ as the elect to rule a thousand years with Him during the millennium. The rest of the dead not included in the group known as the elect. The vast majority of all who have ever lived, will come up and be judged in the second resurrection also known as the great white throne judgment. Here again is something that needs clarification. A deceived Christianity would lead us to believe this judgment is a bad thing, it is not, it is the exact opposite, it is a good thing. With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. ( Isaiah 26: 9 ) A good thing!

Another even more basic and simple answer as to why churches around the world will not or can not follow, believe and teach the Word of God, is because Christ does not want them to know and understand it at this time. Even though Christianity teaches that Christ taught in parables to make it easier for mankind to understand and to believe His Word, that is just another commonly taught lie. Christ taught in parables to hide the truth and to prevent them from hearing and understanding it.
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. ( Matthew13: 13 - 15 ) Then again over in Isaiah chapter 6. Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed." ( Isaiah 6:10 ) Christ spoke in parables only, even his disciples needed to have him explain them, before they could understand.

I would hope this short letter will serve as a wake up call to all, self included. I believe something of monumental spiritual importance is taking place in our day. With the knowledge explosion taking place around this world, there has been no prior time in the history of mankind that we all have at our fingertips the never before even imagined amount of information and spiritual truth that is being made available to everyone. God is more than ever before revealing Himself to all of us with ears to hear with and eyes to see with, through His Son Jesus Christ. The more we understand Christ, the more we are becoming acquainted with God the Father. Christ does only that which He sees the Father doing. Without God Christ can do nothing, and without Christ we can do nothing. We are a lump of clay in the hands of the potter. We are a marred lump of clay that never leaves the hand of the potter. He molds and remolds and shapes each of us to His own specifications. He will not stop or give up on even one of us, until we become a finished product in His kingdom. With great joy and anticipation I await all that our Awesome God has in store for us. As my spirit returns to God who gave it, to be absorbed back into the Father from whence it came. As I Wait for my change!

I am not wanting to hurry up the process of getting to that change, I enjoy this physical life and it has all been interesting and rewarding to say the least. But I am growing weary of dull hearing and dimmer eyesight, aching bones and a diminishing energy level, the panting and puffing of bending over to put my shoes on, the more frequent doctor visits and the sagging loose skin that used to be muscle. Having to hire things done that we always used to do for ourselves. I have lived a reasonably long and eventful life. With a few near death experiences, I fought the Chinese in the forty and fifty degree below zero weather in the Korean war. The severe cold extracted everything out of a body that could be taken. I came home around a hundred pounds, spent a year in an Army hospital recovering, I was skin stretched over a bone skeleton, here I am now sixty two years later a pot gutted, big bellied, over weight two hundred and sixty five pound individual that likes to eat about anything that will go through my collar.

Even though it may have been abused by circumstance and neglect, I appreciate this body that God has given me for an abode for His Son Jesus Christ who lives in me as I also live in Him. The flesh that this body is profits nothing. If not taken care of immediately after my demise, it will be a heap of rotting corruption drawing flies and breeding maggots. But the really good news is, I will be trading it for one like God and Christ have. An immortal, spirit body that never dies. I have made provisions in advance when the time comes, to properly dispose of the old corrupt one in a fashion that returns it quickly back to the earth from which it came. Years ago while visiting in Florida, we passed a sign that advertised cremation for $565.00. Nancy and myself both signed on the dotted line and paid for our cremation and for a little extra we took the travel plan. Anywhere on earth we happen to be at our death, our body will be cremated and the ashes shipped to our next of kin at our home address. With funerals now costing eight to ten thousand dollars and more, our philosophy was and is, why pay a funeral director we don’t even know, up to twenty thousand dollars or more that could go to our family that needs it. We rest in peace while still being alive, in knowing these arrangements have all been made in advance, as our spirit returns to God.

May the Almighty God of all that exists, bless you with an open mind.

To understand His most magnificent plan of the salvation of all.

The gospel ( Good News ) of Jesus Christ.
